Clerk Auth slow in prods
Hey PapaFam i noticed something - clerk in development was faster but moment i changed from dev to prod observed some performance issues has anyone noticed this before or maybe its just me thinking its slow, you might try to sign up here and check if this is something okay. https://www.lystica.cloud/sign-up

Yep, same here. Prod always feels heavier than dev for Clerk. I found that session caching and stricter security checks slow it down a bit.

@Mark Sikaundi totally get where you’re coming from. For the buttons, Clerk exposes them via their UI components, so you can style them by overriding the theme or passing in your own color props, depends if you’re using React, Next.js, or vanilla.

Hey kudos to you, the portfolio is looking amazing, I am just having one doubt with the "get in touch" CTA, I think it is not properly responsive or visible, you surely can look into it rest all is amazing man.

🚀 My Journey as a Dev in Progress
Hey everyone 👋 my name is Katie Sabrina, I’m 45 years old, and I wanted to share a bit of my journey with you. When I first started chasing my dream, it wasn’t easy at all. I had no connections, no experience, and I had to learn everything the hard way. At one point, I even got scammed and lost $580. Honestly, I almost gave up right there. But my sister kept motivating me not to quit, and later I met a sponsor who believed in me. That support completely changed my path. Looking back, I see every struggle as part of finding my strength and my voice. And that’s why I’m here today, because I believe in growth, resilience, and the power of community support. 💡 My message is simple: Never give up. No matter how heavy things feel, keep pushing forward, your breakthrough might be closer than you think. Excited to keep learning, building, and growing with this badass community

Love this, Katie. The honesty in your journey makes it so relatable. Thanks for reminding us that setbacks don’t define us, how we respond to them does.
The Quiet Wins That Keep Me Going as an Indie Maker
Over the past few months, I’ve realized something most of my progress doesn’t come in the form of “big wins.” It’s not the launch days, viral posts, or massive revenue spikes that keep me going. It’s the smaller, quieter victories: - Finally fixing that bug that’s been haunting me for weeks. - Receiving a short, heartfelt email from a user who genuinely found value in my product. - Watching my analytics and seeing one new paying customer appear after days of silence. - Getting into that elusive deep-focus zone where hours pass without me noticing. As indie makers, we’re often surrounded by success stories that seem huge and instant. But in reality, our journeys are made of these tiny, consistent steps forward often invisible to others but deeply motivating to us. I’ve started celebrating these little wins as much as I would a big milestone. Because when the hype fades, it’s these quiet moments that remind me why I’m building in the first place. Question for the community: What’s one small win you’ve had recently that gave you a disproportionate boost of motivation?

Managed to stay in deep focus for like 4 hours straight — no Slack, no doomscrolling. Something I should be proud of 😂
