Sighthound Speed Dating?
I mean play date, of course. @Megan Julian and @Dharma Akmon - you both have Sighthounds! Megan has 2 super dang cute Borzoi pups that might actually be the same (shaggy) size as Dharma's teenaged Whippet. ;) If I can't be there, though, then I *neeeeeeeeed* video....and maybe some Monday puppy spam.

My colleague has a silken windhound. Talk about a noodle dog!
A Few of Our Favorite Things...
These are a few of our favorite things... We are often asked what snacks we're using. Or fave leash, harness, dog crate, mats, etc. Listed here are some of the most frequently used, websites we like, books to read, and more. Snackums: This could be such a lengthy list! We'll connect to links where possible, list the spots we frequent, and update when there are more options. I'm a pretty picky human when it comes to what my dogs get as snacks, so we use a lot of freeze- or air-dried raw food as reinforcers. May cost a little bit more, though less overall when you factor in they're eating food and the ingredients are often far more simple. Primal Pet Food: LOVE the freeze-dried nuggets! They're easy to crumble for 'find it' moments or stuff in a kong. My gang is partial to the Turkey-Sardine. Rawbble: These are kibble-like bits of freeze-dried snacks...and they're great. Easy to split and delicious. The duck tends to be quite crumbly. Salmon bites: these freeze-dried wonderpuffs are often available at Costco, where they're significantly less expensive than other retailers. We also use the beef liver, but more sparingly as too much can cause an upset tummy. Rawternative: perhaps one of our faves. While tends to be pricier, the biggest bag lasts a loooong time and each of the squares can be broken into several pieces. I use it a lot when traveling or when I struggle to find organs for my doggos. It also has NZ Green Mussels in (most of?) the formulas, a fabulous source of chondroiton and glucosamine! Supplements: The Wildlings are of various ages, so supplements are a way of life! Whether for old age or specific to one of their needs, we use a variety with success. Standard Process: As always, I do recommend a vet who's educated in nutrition weigh in first! The one that we have found universally successful is Canine Immune System Support. Dr. Turenne from Fourpaws Wellness is an excellent nutritionist resource if you need one.

Thank you fro the biothane link — i've tried looking before and I get seriously overwhelmed with all the options. I like the stitching on this one and will pick up a 15-footer! Love the bright orange color for visibility, too.
Little Wins!!!
Tell us all your training fun - big or little wins! I’ll go first: Mollee walked politely on a leash twice in public. If you know of her enthusiasm, you know that’s a big deal. (I also got my first shin splint in 20+ years running in my chacos…) And y’all?

This past week has been hard because Georgia and I haven't been able to get out and about as much as we'd like. She's been stir crazy and was absolutely bonkers at parkrun yesterday in the rain. With more rain today, we're inside again. I've not had her practice some sniffy work with a fragrant Trader Joe's Chai teabag in a while.... Her first find was so fast (like 20 seconds) that I didn't have time to start a video! I was better on turns 2 and 3 and thought to record! The last find definitely took the longest and I had to go stand closer to where I'd put it.
