Off Leash + Kids = Harder Challenge 🐕
Nala does well off leash when it’s just her and I, but when my kids are with us she is more protective and feels the need to lead. Working on staying by my side with my oldest daughter this round. She is improving, still needs some work at times and reminders that she has to stay close to my side but she does very well still. Teaching her off leash walking everywhere makes walks much more enjoyable for us both. I also highly recommend the short handled leash. It doesn’t drag while she walks yet gives me complete control when we are passing other dogs. $20 on Amazon and so worth it!

@Abigail Aldridge I’m glad walks are more enjoyable now! I remember with my past dog before nala avoiding them because it was so hard and unpredictable. It’s so tough to feel guilty and frustrated at the same time.

This is a HUGE step for Reba. Usually she is pulling my arm from the socket. We are both learning so much.

Sniff Spots
Just curious if anyone uses these spots. I have booked one for Reba to work on training and have time for us to run free and have some fun time together in a safe space.
