So how did you spend your bank holiday weekend? Here in the UK we got an extra day added to our weekend, and the big bonus was the sun 🌞 have put in an appearance for three solid days - very rare on a bank holiday!

Spent it moving last years hay, cleaning out the barn and stacking this years hay. Hoping to get some more done today as it is a bit cooler!

Changing a word can make a big difference to the feelings we have. In this very short video I talk about adding a word, replacing a word and deleting a word. Small simple changes make a difference. Check it out in classroom. https://www.skool.com/the-confident-rider/classroom/06e9fca5 Let me know below if it resonates with you 👇

Couldn't agree more. The words we use can cast spells, either positive or negative. 'Spelling' is called that for a reason. Our horses are very capable of reading our emotional state, even if they can't understand our words, so we must take care when choosing words to describe them. Calling them, thick, stubborn or something ruder isn't going to improve the situation, but thanking them for letting us know that they are not OK helps us to feel more empathy and start to search for solutions. Changing how we feel about them, changes how they feel about us.

I have both. Fake one ready decorated, quick and easy to put up. Real one because it smells nice and most importantly so the horses can eat it as treats during the next few months. Not all trees are edible though so buy carefully if you specifically want to feed to animals.
