5 Ways To Improve Your Health (That DON’T involve tracking calories or going to the gym)
September doesn’t need to mean a strict gym plan or counting every calorie - believe it or not 😆 Sometimes the biggest results come from the smallest, consistent changes. Try these 5 simple habits this month if you’re feeling overwhelmed 👇 • Exercise snacks: As little as 1-2 mins of movement (stairs, squats, star jumps) through your day can = improved blood sugar, energy, and health. • Add one high-fibre food at each meal: Berries, oats, peas, beans etc help keep you fuller for longer & support gut health. • Eat at the same time daily: Even if it’s just ONE meal - consistency regulates hunger cues, digestion, and energy. Regular meal timing supports circadian rhythms and steadier appetite signals. • Set a bedtime alarm: Sleep is the foundation for energy, cravings, recovery, and hormones - we know this already! But it’s hard! Regular sleep & wake times help support hormone balance, memory, and better blood sugar control. • One daily stretch: Skip the 30-min routine that you’ll rarely do, and choose ONE stretch (hip flexor, chest opener) and stick with it. Going to try scheduling meal times and a small manageable stretch goal (guilty of saving the elaborate routines and never getting round to them!)
