I had a little win with Freya We were practicing our Leash walking , another reactive dog started to walk towards us and Freya was very fixated on it , so I decided to cross the road and got her into a sit position and worked on her focus on me to which she maintained it about 75% of the time till the dog was gone and we could then return to our training Unsure if this was the right thing to do but I was very proud of her!
Maizie recall practice
I'm usually not keen on letting Maizie free because when out & about recall can definitely be hit & miss especially around distractions like birds, kids, dogs etc. So today because I felt it was very safe & low distractions I finally let go of the 10m lead to actually really test Maizie's recall & she did really well. She's not really a treat eater on walks (I think to thirsty & puffed probably) so I do keep her ball in my pocket in case I have to give it a squeeze/sqeak to ensure she'll come back if calling her doesn't actually work. Lol😂 Any tips or advice trainers if you can see is needed from the videos please let me know. Last video is when we first got there & her nose barely leaves the ground. She's sooo scent driven & just looooooves this freedom & is so happy. 💜😊

Stealing
I understand this is probably a very broad question but what is the best starting approach to try and stop a dog taking things she shouldn’t 😆, She always finds something to take and run away with, I know she’s doing it for attention in the hope that we will come follow her but I can’t always do that when I’m tending to my newborn Any little tips or tricks would be great! 😊

🎉CONGRATS GRIZZ AND BONNIE🎉
🎉 Huge congratulations to Grizz & Bonnie on passing their Level 2 assessment! 🐾💙 These two have worked hard to build calmness, engagement and reliable impulse control, and it’s been fantastic to see their confidence and consistency grow with every session. They've both shown they're ready to take the next step in their training journey! 🌟 Well done, Grizz & Bonnie—we're so proud of you and your pawrents! Bring on Level 3! 🎓👏💙 @Trevor Spiteri

I don’t know if this is a silly question but can I ask what the different level assessments are ? :)

I was able to walk past a very distracting man using his pressure washer next door and Freya paid me full attention 🥳
