Today’s question is a gentle one: What’s something that’s helped you feel even a little more grounded lately? It doesn’t have to be related to sales or money. It could be a thought, a habit, a conversation, or something small you noticed. Reading quietly counts too! Sharing helps us all get ideas from one another that we can try out for ourselves. I'll start... So I am NOT an artist. Like not by any means! But @Anna Godefroy inspired me to start coloring as a form of creative expression. When I feel like I need a break, I pull out my spiral note pad and start drawing. Sometimes I use colors, sometimes just a black pen. I have no plan, I just let my feelings guide me and go with the flow! What I love about doing this is that I can't be thinking about anything else at the same time. I'm grounded in the present moment and focused only on how peaceful it makes me feel. It's just for me! There is no purpose to it other than grounding myself- a true gift I give myself. Here's a picture of something I created recently... I hope this serves someone here today! Sending love

Gorgeous drawing, Liz! For me, it's a quiet morning meditation and lately, it's been writing.

Hello friends! How is everyone feeling today? I thought I would get our discussion going to start sharing our experiences with one another. I will soon be sharing my story with you and will also start posting videos in the Selling for Women Who Hate Sales Free Course. But until then, I thought we could create a valuable discussion with one another. Today's discussion topic? What’s one thing about sales or money that feels harder than you expected? I'll start. I had a hard sales week last week as I got several no's back from prospects I had been nurturing over the past few months. It's never easy to pour your heart into something, have someone seriously consider your offer (even one of them had said yes and then backed down at the last minute!) and then say no. Times like that feel hard because they're disappointing. Closing a sales deal feels like winning to me, and when people say no, it can feel like losing if I'm not careful. What I can celebrate is that I have a robust sales pipeline of other prospects I'm actively in discussion with, and that I no longer take those no's personally. It's not about me! I hope this serves someone here today.

I think the hardest thing for me is putting in a lot of work and the sales coming in slowly or not at all. Putting in the energy and things are happening slower than expected.
