@Cecilia Furlong I began in the late 60's with Dr Who. I would watch it with a pillow to hide behind, for the scary bits. My 5/6 yr old me, found it scary. And they had shitty special affects back then 🤣

@Cecilia Furlong How adorable. Cuddles to settle your tremours...You watched Dr Who close to bed time, that's a sure way to create nightmares 😱
🚨 Confession time… 🚨
Is anyone else drowning in Skool notifications, or is it just me? I love being part of multiple communities, sharing, commenting, cheering people on… basically, I’m the Skool version of that over-enthusiastic friend who claps the loudest at karaoke night. 🎤👏 But here’s the kicker: while I’m busy sprinkling love across other people’s communities, my own Skool community is over there like a ghost town. Tumbleweeds. 🏜️ I post, I pour in effort… and sometimes it feels like I’m talking to myself (and even I don’t always reply). So I’m curious, does anyone else feel this imbalance? Is it just the nature of the Skool beast? Or are some of us so busy building our own little kingdoms that we forget to visit our neighbours’ castles? 🏰 I know there is only so much energy and focus we each have, and I totally understand when we feel spent and have to throw in the towel for the day. Would love to hear your take, bonus points if you’ve cracked the code on reciprocity without needing an inbox exorcist. ✉️👻

@Louis Pendley I'd cry if I had that many notifications

@Reid Richardson Yep, it's a learning curve. We are trying to add content that is as mainstream relevant to capture engagement. We have quite a few members who are not active at all in the Skool overall. Plus, a few members, who are likely busy with their own skool communities and (AIPreneur Mastermind members who are busy developing their start-up AI marketing agencies) Which is totally understandable. Their is only so much time and energy for Skool, Business and their Families.
What story do you tell yourself?
We all have stories we tell ourselves. For example, "Everyone else is faster than me" "I'm the one who always gets left behind." "No one ever really understands me." "I'm just meant to be alone." What's your story? These stories, born from our deepest wounds, can become a strange sort of comfort. They become our identity. But here's a question that can change everything: What would happen if your pain disappeared? Who would you be without that familiar story? What do you need to uncover? Is your pain protecting you in some way? Sometimes, the cage is so familiar that the thought of freedom is terrifying. This isn't about blaming yourself. It's about radical self-awareness. It's about seeing the cage for what it is, and realising YOU alone hold the key. So, what story about your pain are you ready to stop telling? What new story could you write in its place?

This is a huge reflection @Sheena Mason-White I wrote those questions in my journal to do some deep reflection on. Thank you.

Making our own essential oil scented bees wax candles. Bees wax is better for the environment, as Soy candles are the most common to buy that are scented. I prefer to control the scent myself, so I have the quality and combo for the benefits I'm wanting.

@Ann-Marie Clare We use a website for candle making for our supplies. Moulds, various types of wicks and sizes, due to the length of burning time and size of candle. We get the beeswax in pellets, and weight them to determine what we need for the candle size. My husband is totally into it too. The incense I like to use is a mix of Pachouli, Compilation of Rose essences, Ylang Ylang. This combo I used for candles at my Women's retreat. It was a huge hit with the ladies.
What's the most obscure fact you've learned today?
So there I was, tangled in Reformer straps like a human pretzel, when my Pilates instructor Lauren dropped this bomb: "Think of yourself as a seahorse." Me: "What are you talking about?" Lauren: eyes gleaming with marine biology passion, "Seahorses have the most romantic daily ritual! Every morning, they dance together to strengthen their bond. They change colours, intertwine tails, and pirouette around shared holdfasts!" She starts demonstrating on the Reformer, moving like a graceful sea creature while I look like a beached whale. "And get this," she continues, "the MALE gets pregnant! The female has an ovipositor—basically a penis-equivalent—and deposits eggs into his brood pouch!" The entire class stopped, while Lauren continued. "He carries up to 2,000 babies and goes into labour for HOURS, pumping and thrusting to birth them all!" She even showed us a video. Honestly, the birthing motion looks like he's sneezing. Then, get this, they immediately mate again. 🙄 Every day's a school day for me. What about you? What obscure fact have you learned today?

I learnt that kangaroo's can suspend they're pregnancy. If they get pregnant, then there is a drought, they will suspend the pregancy until the drought is over.

@Sheena Mason-White they have to travel much larger distances for water. This is stressful, and the mother can generally only get enough for herself.
