I got tired of AI agents installing hallucinated npm packages, so I built a local safety net 🛡️
Hey everyone! If you're using Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor, or just vibecoding your way through projects, you've probably noticed that AI can be a bit... reckless with npm install. They hallucinate package names or pull in sketchy dependencies while you aren't looking closely. I got tired of babysitting my agents, so we built Agentinel. It is a zero-cost, local guardrail that hooks directly into your AI agent. Right before the agent installs a package, Agentinel scans it against a local database of 216k+ malicious packages and checks for hallucinations. If it's sketchy, it blocks it instantly. The best part? It doesn't just protect the AI. It comes with a terminal shim, so it protects your normal, manual npm install runs too. - Runs entirely locally (no cloud APIs) - Zero latency added to your workflow - 100% Free and open-source We just launched on Product Hunt today, and it would mean the world if this community could check it out and drop some honest feedback! Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/agentinel?launch=agentinel Website: https://agentinel.habitwala.in/ Let me know what you think below, or share the craziest package name an AI has ever hallucinated for you!

Introducing Issue2Action: Turn GitHub Issues Into Actionable Sprint Plans with AI
👋 Hey folks — just shipped something I’m really excited about:Issue2Action — an AI-powered tool that turns messy GitHub issues into real sprint plans (with PR titles, task breakdowns, and time estimates). 🧠 The idea came from a common dev pain point : I’d open a repo, see 30+ uncategorized issues, and feel completely overwhelmed. Planning sprints felt like sorting laundry… by hand… blindfolded. 😅 So I built Issue2Action to fix that. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Connect your GitHub repo 2️⃣ It scans + groups related issues 3️⃣ Suggests PRs w/ descriptions 4️⃣ Breaks them down into clear, prioritized tasks 5️⃣ Adds time estimates — all in seconds ⚙️ Built with: - Next.js - Supabase - Inngest - Gemini It’s fast, simple, and meant to save hours of manual planning for solo devs or small teams. 🧪 Looking for early users + testers! Would love your thoughts — what works, what’s confusing, and how you'd use it. Check it out here: https://www.producthunt.com/products/issues2action?launch=issues2action Let me know what you think! 🙌

🚀 Just Launched: Time Port – The Smartest Bio Link You’ve Never Used (Yet)
Hey everyone 👋 Super pumped to share something I just shipped as part of my 1 Product a Week challenge — introducing Time Port ⏳🌍 What is it? Time Port is a smart bio link that changes where it sends people based on the time of day, day of the week, or even their geographical location. It’s like a time-aware, geo-aware portal for your content. One link, endless possibilities. The Problem: Traditional bio links are static. You get one shot at redirecting someone — and that same link hits the same destination, no matter when or where your audience clicks it. But people online are global, multi-platform, and always in motion — why should our links be stuck in 2007? Time Port lets you do cool stuff like: - Send morning traffic to a blog post, and night traffic to your chill playlist 🎧 - Show U.S. visitors one landing page and EU visitors a localized version 🌎 - Run a special promo only on weekends, automatically 🛍️ - Customize user journeys without needing code or 10 different links 🔗 Live App: https://timeport.nrbuilt.live 📖 Launch Blog: https://amanjanwani.hashnode.dev/meet-time-port-the-only-bio-link-that-knows-what-time-it-is 🚀 Product Hunt: https://www.producthunt.com/products/time-port?utm_source=linkedin&utm_medium=social Why I built this: This was born out of pure frustration. During launches or content drops, I found myself constantly swapping links or trying to make janky link trees work for multiple time zones. I wanted something that just got it — that changed based on context. So I built it. Used Next.js, Supabase, Vercel Edge Middleware, and Clerk — learned a TON about geo-IP detection, edge logic, and syncing auth across services.
