I have a similar experience...sold everything and moved to Peru for two years! It sure does make for a great story, that's for sure 🤪

@Julie Butler Lol it was the cold weather for me. Prob should have researched that a little more because I don't like the cold lol We were in the Sacred Valley. Long story short, a terrible narcissistic relationship. It was the best of times being in a foreign country but also nightmare-ish. Good times 😆 Came back to Texas for a visit, ended up staying for the holidays and then covid hit! We had a trip planned for Mexico in Feb 2020 and then that was cancelled. I'm very grateful we were home when all that pandemic crap went down. I, personally, would still be traveling but my son is very active with boy scouts (almost to Eagle) so we're here for now. 🤩
