Hello, I am Alvin in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am studying and testing for the AIPB certification. I also am a Tax Specialist at a retail tax prep company. I learned the envelope system in the 3rd grade, when my parents said I could have a Gameboy -- but I had to buy it myself. They started me on a weekly allowance and required me to keep a ledger that matched my envelopes: Fun Money, General Fund, Savings, Tithes. I slowly taught myself most of what I know about Accountancy.... and I am obsessed with the perfect precision of the Accounting Equation. I want the expanded equation tattooed on my body. I'd love to get a job as a bookkeeper or accounting assistant one day. Eventually, I'd love to work the SMB owners, Agri/Farm Businesses, and Food Truck owners. I passed the full tax training course 3 times, before deciding to apply to be a Tax Preparer.
