Family!!! The Walk is back!!! We are so excited to see everyone again. It has felt like forever since we have last gathered. Come join us as we gather at Grace Church Volleyball Court next Wednesday, July 29th at 6:00 PM Address: 8440 Grace St, Frisco, TX 75034 Expect: ♥️Fellowship 🏐Volleyball 🙏🏻Prayer 🎵Music 🏝️Popsicles (please bring a box for everyone to share if you can! it will be HOT🌞) ⚠️Please bring water for yourself as it will be hot! ———————————— As you all know, this past month The Walk has been on a temporary hiatus. We temporarily put a pause on The Walk because of two main reasons: Reason #1 We have been searching for a new location to host our weekly gatherings and teachings. Due to formal changes made in the policies regarding group gatherings at our previous location, we were put in an unfortunate position of needing to find a new place. If any of you have any recommendations for our weekly gatherings, please feel free to reach out to us! We are hoping to resume The Walk this upcoming fall season. Reason #2: In all transparency as the main steward of the ministry, I have lacked the capacity to fully engage in all that is needed to help guide The Walk in curriculum and in teaching due to necessitating family and career. Because of this, my prayer for this next season is to refocus on the vision that God has given me for His ministry, and that is to continue what the Acts 2 church established—true fellowship. The goal for this next season is to continue being… Devoted to the Scriptures Devoted to the teachings of the Apostles Devoted to the breaking of bread Devoted to doing life together Devoted to koinonia ———————————— I also wanted to give a quick shout out to @Lindsey Dehoyos and @Ally Aguilar for keeping my head on straight and for helping us run the ministry, as well as our amazing helpful donors that help keep our gathering in this community running.
