🌿 Root Challenge Day 5: 10 Things About "SAFETY"
It's easy to discount the state of your nerves. But here's how "safety" impacts every part of your life: 1. Your nervous system doesn't separate emotional stress from physical stressβ€”it responds to both. 2. Unresolved events don't just live in memory. They can keep your body braced for a danger that's already passed. 3. That bracing shows up as tension, digestion issues, headaches, poor sleep, fatigueβ€”a body that never fully relaxes. 4. Your symptoms aren't proof you're broken. They're often signs your nervous system is still trying to protect you. 5. The bigger the emotional event, the more support your nervous system may need to process it. 6. Overwhelm, numbness, distraction, the urge to quitβ€”these are protective responses, not failures. 7. This is co-regulation: your nervous system can borrow safety signals from another calm, regulated person. 8. That's why guided EFT can help where solo tapping hits a wallβ€”your brain gets new information: "I'm safe enough to stay present." 9. As your nervous system learns the danger has passed, it stops working so hard to protect youβ€”and that shift shows up emotionally, mentally, physically. 10. Tomorrow isn't about pushing harder. It's about giving your nervous system what it needs to finally let go. Your turn: Have you noticed a stressful season show up in your bodyβ€”tight shoulders, headaches, stomach issues, poor sleep, fatigue? Looking back, what was your nervous system trying to protect you from? 🌿

Poor sleep and fatigue! Irritability sometimes, too
🌿 Root Challenge · Day 4
Tell me something. What is the most random thing that has ever triggered you? Not the big obvious ones. The weird ones. A song from ten years ago. The smell of a specific soap. The sound of a particular ringtone. A font on a sign. The way someone clears their throat. Something so small and specific that you could never explain it to anyone β€” but your body knew immediately. Drop it below. First thing that comes to mind. After you have done Day 4 in the Course tab, come back and add your numbers too: Before: ___ /10 present After: ___ /10 present I will start. Mine is the name of a city. 🌿

Mine is when someone stands directly behind me.
🌿 Root Challenge β€” Day 3 Check-In
You just practiced EFT breathing. (If you didn't yet, go ahead to the classroom and do Day 3, then come here) Now I want to see your data. Drop your numbers below: Before: ___% After: ___% And one more thing β€” did anything surprise you? Maybe your number barely moved and you expected more. Maybe it moved more than you thought possible. Maybe you noticed something in your body you had not noticed before. Whatever happened is useful information. There is no wrong result. The fact that you measured it β€” that you paid attention to how your nervous system responded β€” that is the work. Drop your numbers below. 🌿

before was about 60%, after was closer to 80% or 90% though I will say it's hard for me to judge what the number actually is. I can definitely say it's higher though!
The Root Challenge Day 2: 10 True Things
Head to the Course tab for today's full lesson. But whether you are doing this challenge or not β€” these ten things are worth knowing about yourself. Nobody taught you this about Growth. 1. You do not have to face everything head-on. 2. Sometimes your nervous system needs another way in. 3. Healing often starts at the edges. 4. Your body decides when it is safe β€” not your willpower. 5. Gentle is not slower. It is often more effective. 6. The goal is not to overpower your nervous system. 7. The goal is to work with it. 8. What looked like avoidance may have been wisdom. 9. Your body has been protecting you all along. 10. Now you can work with your body instead of fighting against it. If even one of these landed for you today β€” you are already doing the work. Head to the Course tab and open Day 2 for the full lesson. 🌿 πŸ’¬ Which one of these surprised you the most? Drop the number below.

Ohhh I really like β€œwhat looked like avoidance may have been wisdom”
🌿 Day 2 Check-In
You practiced sneaking up today. Drop one word below for how your nervous system felt when you approached your loaded moment gently instead of head on. Lighter? Surprised? Skeptical? Still processing? No wrong answers. Just drop it. 🌿
