Trt bloodwork
I am on hrr along with the mitochondrial peps, had blood work this week with a high red blood count, can anyone chime in on this. I know it's not a totally peptide question, but I'm wondering what bearing trt has along with peps! Thanks

Go donate blood! Drink a gallon of water the day before! Been doing this for 11 years.
Ghk-cu related pain?
Derek just posted an awesome video about numbing wipes on TikTok. I always hear everyone talking about the stinging during pinning. What I’m experiencing happens about an hour afterward and lasts throughout the rest of the day, but never into the next day. It’s a dull pain, kind of like being sore from getting punched earlier. For some reason, applying pressure with my hand to the area actually gives me a bit of relief. I’m just curious if anyone else has experienced this. I pin 12 units of Ghk-cu 50mg reconstituted with 3ML of bac water.

GHKcu needs to be very diluted, especially when buying 50 or 100mg vials! You need to get sterile 10ml vials, partially reconstitute in the small 5ml vial and with a syringe (I use 3ml luer locks and 23ga needles) move it to the 10ml. Then you can add enough Bac water to equal 10ml. It’ll never sting again!
Experiences Switching Between Tirzepatide and Reta
Has anyone here run tirzepatide first, experiment with reta, and decide tirzepatide worked better for them? I ask because I started with Reta and have experienced some emotional flatness and wondering if Tirz might work better for me. I would love to hear your stories.

I started with Tirz, went to Reta, Reta has more side effects , went back to Tirz.
Tirz → Reta: Muscle Retention & Recomp Differences in Female Subjects?
Hey everyone — long-time reader, first-time poster šŸ‘‹ I wanted to share a bit of my current research protocol and get feedback from those who have experience with both tirzepatide and retatrutide, specifically around muscle retention and body recomposition. Subject background: Female, 35, 5’1ā€, desk job but moderately active (3-4 45ish minute gym sessions a week) Subject previously ran tirzepatide at 5mg/week, resulting in ~25 lb total loss. After hitting a plateau, she discontinued tirz and has been off for 4+ weeks. Primary reason for switching compounds: While fat loss on tirz was excellent, the remaining goal is further fat loss with better muscle retention / recomp, especially given that females tend to preserve lean mass less efficiently than males during weight loss. New protocol: - Retatrutide starting at 1mg/week for 4 weeks - Planned titration to 2mg/week (split dose: Monday / Thursday) - Intention to hold at the lowest effective dose for as long as results are present The choice to switch to reta is based on research showing improved fat oxidation, metabolic rate, and lean mass preservation vs GLP-1/GIP-only compounds. Main question for the group: For those who have researched both tirzepatide and retatrutide, did you notice a meaningful difference in muscle retention, firmness, or overall body recomposition when switching to reta — especially in female subjects? I’m particularly curious about: • Muscle retention • Strength preservation • Visual ā€œtoningā€ / recomposition • Differences in early vs later-phase results Would love to hear both data-driven insights and real-world experience. Appreciate everyone’s input!

So long as you progressively overload your muscles and hit your protein goal, you will retain muscle on both Reta and Tirz. I was one who went from Tirz to Reta and guess what, I’m back on Tirz! Reta is hard on your central nervous system. Eli Lilly is hiding this (they don’t wanna lose their newest cash cow). It sent my RHR from 60 to the high 80’s and my HRV tanked into the teens! My sleep stress was horrible too.
Low testosterone
Got bloodwork done and turns out I got low testosterone, started hormone injections on Friday. I know this is a peptide community of course but just wondering if anyone is also in the same boat? And if you're doing anything peptide wise or lifestyle-wise to also help boost testosterone back up?

@Eduardo Echeverria 400 every 2 weeks is insane! I’ve been on TRT for 11 years and I have done actual cycles! Your Dr is sending your test levels through the roof and then crashing! I’m on 160 a week split into 4 20mg doses and my lab tests show my total test around 1400! Eventually your receptors will start to burn out and test by itself won’t help! 120-160 a week split into 2-4 doses keeps you steady.
