Nice to meet everyone! My name is Alix, and I'm a freelance writer from Austria based in Portugal. I've written articles for Breathe, Suitcase, the NZ Herald, Culture Trip, and more. I work in editorial at The World Times, focusing on culture, news, and digital media. My work is largely opinion-led, shaped by a deep interest in contemporary cultural conversations and the stories that sit just beneath the headlines. Alongside writing, I’m also involved in editorial coordination and newsroom operations, including managing orientations and press communication. Outside of work, I have a particular interest in reading and writing psychological fiction, and I’ve had the opportunity to publish a few works in the genre as well.
