I made another Skool extension… and this post is the test 😂
Skool only lets you send a post out by email once every 72 hours, but it doesn’t really show you when your next email is available unless you hover over the option and check. So I made an extension that keeps track of it for me. When the 72 hours are up, it shows: Email available now And when I send an email blast, it should automatically switch over to a grey countdown showing how long is left until I can send the next one. So that’s what I’m testing with this post. If everything works properly, the moment I publish this with the email option turned on, the extension should detect it and start counting down from 72 hours. I’ll drop a screenshot in the comments if it works. 𝗨𝘀𝗲𝗳𝘂𝗹?

Hands Up If You’ve Actually Used the Classroom
Hands up if you’ve actually gone through the OCL classroom since I updated it. 🙋‍♂️ And be honest. Clicking into one lesson, scrolling halfway down and thinking, “I’ll come back to this later,” does not count. I’ve recently rebuilt and reorganised the classroom because I want it to be genuinely useful for someone who is trying to start a community, not just a collection of lessons that sits there looking impressive. 😎 The goal is to help you move from thinking about starting a community to actually choosing an idea, setting it up, getting people inside and reaching profit mode. So I’d genuinely like to know: Have you gone through any of the updated lessons? Which section have you found most useful? Is there anything you expected to find that still isn’t there? And if you haven’t looked yet, what’s honestly stopping you? No judgement. I’d rather know the real answer than have everyone tell me the classroom looks great while nobody actually uses it.

Story of my life though
Paid for Itself in Four Days.
I created a brand new community on 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 28. By 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 31, it had already reached 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙞𝙩 𝙈𝙤𝙙𝙚. It hasn’t even been a full week yet. I still haven’t properly launched it. I’m still building parts of the classroom, still figuring out how I want everything to run, still testing different types of posts, and still moving things around as I go. But it’s 𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮 paying for itself. That’s the part I really want people to think about. So many good community ideas never get a chance because they stay trapped in planning mode. People keep telling themselves they need more time, more clarity, a better offer, more lessons, better branding, or some magical moment when they finally feel completely ready. At some point, you just have to build the thing, let people see it, and find out what happens. And no, I’m not saying every community will pay for itself in four days. I’m saying this is what can become possible when you stop endlessly thinking about your idea and actually take the leap. 🚀🚀🚀 I had an idea for a low-cost community built around 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘀, but I didn’t want it to feel like another painfully serious online business group where everyone is “scaling to seven figures” before breakfast. I wanted it to have some personality, be fun, and most importantly, I wanted it to have an inside joke that members could immediately understand and become part of. So I gave it what may be the most honest community name on Skool 😎💸 That little bit of personality matters. The community isn’t just “another business community.” It has a name people remember, a joke people can participate in, and a tone that makes it feel like something different. This particular experiment is only just beginning, and I’m going to be building it out in public from inside the community. Members will be able to watch me develop the classroom, test new ideas, make decisions, change things that aren’t working, share what is working and hopefully turn a slightly ridiculous five-dollar concept into something genuinely valuable.

I love the saying do it messy or messy is better than perfect. Because action takers are the ones that are winning and you’re clearly wining
