Lately, God has been opening my eyes to something I never really thought about before: the frequency of the fabrics we surround ourselves with. Did you know that most modern clothing and bedding is made of polyester — which is literally PLASTIC made to feel soft? 🥴 But here’s the crazy part: polyester has no real life force frequency. In contrast, natural fibers like cotton have a frequency of around 100 hz … but linen is measured at 5,000 hz! ✨ That’s a massive difference. Linen has even been studied for its healing and balancing effects, and it’s mentioned throughout the Bible as a fabric of purity and holiness. This revelation has inspired me to start making changes in my home. My first step? Switching my bedding to 100% linen. Slowly but surely, I’ll be replacing other fabrics too. I truly believe that what we surround ourselves with physically can impact us spiritually, mentally, and even energetically. 📖 Scripture says: “She makes coverings for her bed; she is clothed in fine linen and purple.” — Proverbs 31:22 👉 Question for you today: Have you ever thought about the energy or purity of the fabrics you wear and sleep in? If not, what’s one area of your home or lifestyle that you feel called to “upgrade” so it better aligns with the abundant, healthy life God desires for you? 💬 My Answer: I’m starting with switching my bedding to 100% linen since I spend so much of my life sleeping and resting in it. One small change at a time! 🌿✨
Wow! I never knew any of this. Thank you. I strive to create a bed that is comfortable and inviting. I will certainly follow your lead.

Something God has been teaching me lately is the difference between tithing and donating. 🔑 Tithing is obedience — giving back to God the first 10% of what He has already given us. It’s not really about money, but about trust and putting Him first. In Malachi 3:10, God says: “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse... Test me in this... and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.” 👐 Donating, on the other hand, is generosity above and beyond the tithe. It’s giving freely, cheerfully, and from the overflow — whether that’s to someone in need, a cause, or even a ministry we feel called to support. Both matter. Both change lives. But the heart posture is different. 💜 👉 Question for you today: How do you personally view tithing vs. donating? Do you feel God calling you to grow in one area more than the other right now? 💬 My Answer: For me, I’ve realized that tithing isn’t optional — it’s God’s command, and it blesses the 90% I keep. But donating fills my heart with joy because it’s me getting to go above and beyond and join in God’s work freely. I want to grow in both!
I believe there is one entry in the bible where it mentions 10%. For me, when I am unemployed, I try to give of my time rather than money. When I am working, I do try to tithe, but admitedly it's not always 10% (as I am always playing catch up). I'm an adjunct professor and notn working for about 4.5 months throughout the year (holidays and summers are only for full time employees). I will keep trying.

Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19–20), and what we put into them really does matter. 🌿 These days, it feels like everything is packed with hidden ingredients, preservatives, or chemicals — and with fast food being advertised everywhere, it can feel overwhelming to truly eat clean. 🍔➡️🥗 Recently, I’ve been focusing more on reading ingredient labels when I shop, and it’s been eye-opening! So many of the foods I thought were “not bad” for me were actually full of things that aren’t nourishing at all. 😳 Choosing better options has reminded me that honoring God with my body is also about what I choose to feed it. 👉 Today’s Check-In Question: What’s one small change you can make this week to nourish your body better — whether it’s food, water, rest, or movement? 🌸 ✨ For me, I’ve started really paying attention to ingredient labels. It’s been surprising (and honestly a little frustrating) to see how many foods advertised as “healthy” or “not bad” are actually full of things that aren’t good for us. This has made me much more mindful about what I’m putting into my body, and I already feel more peace knowing I’m taking steps to honor God with my health. 💪🌿
@Amanda Nooren Yessssss! Every night, I drink warm or hot water with a pinch of mineral sea salt while watching television. Honestly, I'd probably say the majority of my daily consumption is in the evening hours. I need to be more mindful during the day.
@Amanda Nooren You're absolutely right. I need to set a glass out as a reminder. I'm more likely to follow through as I've done it in the past, but I seem to have fallen off the wagon. 😅

Friends, today I want to take a moment to acknowledge something heavy that’s affecting us all. The passing of Charlie Kirk on September 10th. His faith and his voice touched countless people. I send my deepest condolences to his family, his friends, and everyone who followed his journey. It’s heartbreaking but I also believe this moment calls us to step into our faith more than ever. To speak truth when silence feels safer. To live boldly in Christ, even when fear tries to whisper louder. 📖 Scripture reminds us: > “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” — Romans 12:21 “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16 Charlie said, not long ago, that he wants to be remembered for courage for his faith. I believe that even in his death, there is power — not because of what the world does, but because of what God does with hearts turned to Him. 👉 Question for you today: What’s one way you feel God is calling you to be courageous in your faith right now — to speak His Word, to stand for truth, to share Jesus — even if it feels scary? 💬 My Answer: God is calling me to use my voice to share the gospel as much as I can and save as many people as I can! A fire has been lit in myself along with many others to pick up the mic where Charlie left off on witnessing that Jesus is the only way to heaven!
We are so very tired. Our hearts are weary. I think the last time I cried over a public figure's death was Princess Diana. With Charlie ... it was days. And I was so angry. I said as much to another couple. The guy is a vet, who lost his arm in Iraq. He said, "Never be angry. You can be anything else, but don't be angry." I took his words to heart, fully understanding his message. God has been calling me to deeply listen with the intent to understand and not judge. And in every conversation, in every experience to find the good. To uplift, validate and support. Sadly, some people are too far gone. All you can do is not engage and (as Patrick Swayze said) just be nice. Your messages are very important to me - and I think timing was intentional. So thank you for finding me. 💕

God loves you exactly where you are — but He also loves you too much to leave you there. 💜 He wants to walk with you through transformation, but it’s a partnership: we put in the work, and He multiplies it through His grace. 🙌 When we choose faith and obedience, when our intentions are good and rooted in love, God moves in powerful ways. ✨ Remember, He judges the heart — and because of Jesus, our sins are not just forgiven, they are erased. 🕊️ For me, I’ve noticed that the more I purge the things in my life that don’t align with God’s values—whether habits, entertainment, or clutter—the more peace, clarity, and abundance I feel in His presence. 🌸 Each day I grow, I feel Him moving in my life more and more. 🌞 👉 Today’s Check-In Question: What’s one area of your life you feel God nudging you to transform so you can walk closer with Him? 💭
Usually I have an answer - but I'm not entirely sure. Feeling a bit in the weeds at the moment.
@Amanda Nooren Thanks for your insight. One area that I can work on is social drinking. I'm fine with 2, but 3 wrecks the next day. I'm usually super tired and have little enthusiasm to get things done, to stay on task, etc. Also, my attitude is not very agreeable. I'm a bit … SALTY 😂
