What is your experience like with active listening?
Quick question: How many of you practice active listening? Not just listening or waiting your turn. Not thinking about your response while the other person is talking. I mean deliberately repeating back key words, phrases, or ideas to make sure you understood correctly. It's one of the simplest communication skills I've ever learned, and one of the most powerful. If you practice it, I'd love to hear: Where do you use it most: work, relationships, sales, coaching, leadership, or somewhere else?

@Bjƶrn Hagemann and the partnerships make our dreams work!
Loving this community
The thing I love most about this community isn't the advice. It's the action. Everyone is posting videos. Everyone is practicing. Everyone is willing to be a beginner in public. That's rare. Most people wait until they're confident before they start. The people who grow the fastest start before they feel ready. It's inspiring to watch so many people doing the work.šŸ‘
Performance through Heart
SKOOLx video participation. I spent years improving performance from the outside. What changed everything was what happened within. 🧭🦁 SkoolX - Awesome and fun way of learning! šŸ’Æ

What If Burnout Isn't the Problem?: Why High Achievers Lose Themselves Long Before They Burn Out
In this talk, Dr. Janet Little explores the hidden cost of success and why burnout is often a symptom—not the root cause. Through her personal journey, she reveals how confusing sacrifice with service can lead to self-abandonment and offers a powerful reframe for living and leading from a place of overflow rather than depletion.

@Janet Little This really resonated with me. So many high achievers are taught to push harder, give more, and sacrifice themselves in the process. What I appreciate about Dr. Little's message is the distinction between service and self-abandonment. In communication coaching, I often see something similar: people think confidence comes from pushing through fear, when in reality sustainable confidence comes from regulation, clarity, and self-trust. Burnout is often a signal that something deeper needs attention. You can only pour from an empty cup for so long. The strongest leaders I've met don't lead from depletion. they lead from overflow.
