Both Nexum and Volturon ended with a small profit today. Profit is always a good thing, even when it isn't big! Some have argued that the settings on both strategies are a little too conservative, but I don't think so. Even so, the loss-prevention settings are largely configurable, so by all means, experiment while sim trading. One of you shared that turning off the VWAP filter (settings 4a in your properties) and lowering ADX minimum threshold to 18 from 20 (settings 4b in your properties) yielded 2 extra winning trades in Volturon today. So yes, tweaking property settings over time may work for the adventurists among us. Just remember, "a dollar saved is a dollar earned". And what worked today may not work next week, so be careful. But continue to share your ideas because we are all interested in learning new methodologies!

@Steven J. Hendriks they were back to back bar trades so looks like the setting could have made a difference for the second trade, but still missing the 3rd trade. Thinking it has to be a data/connection issue. Curious, what data feed do you guys use?

Prop Firms
Which trading strategy would you say is best for funding accounts from prop firm? Should there be an adjustment of settings?

Take a look at the Nexum performance data on the website. This is projected data but verified for 30 days of actual trading. The drawdown is excellent at less than $1K...as long as that holds, I feel Nexum is an excellent choice for most prop firm account rules. Also, the targets are pretty consistent so less risk when it comes to the 30% rule. Just my 2 cents.

Between Voultron and Nexum, how would I decide which one to run on the daily basis or should I just run both?

@Henry Oyo Nexum today recognized the morning choppy market and stayed out. Then caught two winners during the afternoon 2pm window. Yet another Green Day!

All strategies won today. Nexum had the two initial wins, but didn't take a trade at 2:00 because the market began moving sideways. Volturon hit its target. We have a couple more strategies in the incubator, and they did very well too. We'll keep you posted on those. They're different strategies altogether. I hope you all did well!
