Are you learning how to produce inside a DAW like Ableton live or logic Pro? You can learn how to write songs, you can learn how to play your guitar, you can learn how to perform live, but the most important skill you could possibly learn is how to produce. Get inside of a DAW like Ableton live or logic pro and learn how to use that software. Understand signal chain and how to use all of the different plug-ins. My music career dramatically improved when I was able to take my ideas and bring them to life without anybody else’s assistance. Get out there and start producing!

Hi guys! I found this community on TikTok and I’m excited to check it out. I’m a full time freelancer specializing in all things horn-section related (I’m a trumpet player), I’ve played with some big names and have been a side person my whole life. I miss touring and am happy to hit the road with a well-established group as well as collaborate on new projects! I have a doctorate in performance, and 2 masters as well but they didn’t teach me crap about producing my own stuff or how to get into the industry to continue to make money (and I just can’t deal with the orchestra world… so catty!) Anyway, I am set up to record horns and hit the road any time! Looking forward to getting to know you guys!

Hello and Thanks for having me. I'm running in Logic 11 as of now but I have Pro Tools and a Avid account. I'm still learning and PT is a pretty intense DAW. This my first trip so I will need all the help I can get.
