The Age of Entrepreneurship Is Rising At the last Abundance Summit, Stanford economist Erik Brynjolfsson warned: “We’re witnessing the fastest labor market transformation since the shift to remote work during COVID-19.” He wasn’t exaggerating. Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic, predicts AI could wipe out half of all entry-level white-collar jobs within five years, pushing unemployment as high as 20%. Already, occupations most exposed to AI have seen a 13% decline in employment. For over a century, our schools trained kids to get jobs. Take tests. Follow directions. Earn a salary.
