FABLE MODE SKILL
A lot of people are creating prompts and setups to simulate Fable, so I gathered the best ideas and turned them into a Skill. Take a look and see whether it is useful for you. If it is not, please tell me why. I want to understand what is missing so I can improve it. Fable Mode makes the model work with a more disciplined methodology on complex tasks. It enforces a five-stage workflow: 1. Scope — understand the objective, expected deliverable, constraints, and what could go wrong. 2. Evidence — verify facts, files, sources, and assumptions before reaching conclusions. 3. Attack — challenge the plan itself, looking for weaknesses, risks, and overlooked issues. 4. Verification — test and validate the result before declaring it complete. 5. Reporting — explain what was done, what was validated, and what limitations remain. It also guides the model to: - use stronger models for planning and review; - use lower-cost models for straightforward execution; - choose the appropriate reasoning effort level; - avoid unnecessary clarification questions; - never rely solely on memory; - turn successful workflows into reusable methods. In one sentence: Fable Mode doesn't change the AI's intelligence—it changes how the AI plans, verifies, and delivers its work. It is especially valuable for research, strategy, software development, project analysis, and any task where mistakes can significantly impact the final outcome.

Thanks for this skill 👍 I don't use Fable 5 model because it's most expensive 🤬 If with this skill I can get similar results with Gemma 4 or Nemotron or Orinth that would be great 🙏 I'm now primary using Wayland Ai, and it uses similar workflow: Plan-Evaluate-Build-Evaluate-Ship, it uses 3 different models to run adversarial evaluation validation steps, this way no Ai slop as end product. I will add your skill to it and see what improvements I get 🧐

Also, it would be great for skill to incorporate "Smart Routing" Model use priority: 1. Local free - Ollama, LM Studio for chat, light planing, reasoning, coding 2. Cloud free tier - Ollama Cloud, Openrouter, Fluxrouter for med-heavy reasoning, evaluating, coding 3. Cloud paid tier - optional only if enabled by user - for heavy coding
PLEASE make Native Windows version?
Is there any plans to release a Native Windows version? 🙏 I thought Agent Zero can control Native Windows apps on my machine, but because it;s installed in Docker to run on Linux, it can't operate windows apps, can only do web automations 😠 However, I installed OpenClaw to handle Windows app automation 🙃 My system: Docker + A0=brain + ResonantOS=memory+security layer for OC + OC=hands 🤔 Just don't ask me why I'm building this Frankenstein Monster 🤷‍♂️ All I wanted was easy to install and run AI agent for local windows apps and web automation 🤯 Copi;ot helping me to hook it all up and solve errors 😱 In summary, if you could PLEASE make Native windows version, that would probably replace all other apps that I hooked up to AO 🙏

@Daniel ITwizard Linux should have gone the way of the dinosaurs & dodo 🐦 long ago! Controlling things with code commands, instead of nice GUI what a nightmare 🤮 The only things I hate more than Apple is Linux, will never use them 😠 As I mentioned in OP, I have figured out how to send control command from A0->Openclaw which will actually run windows apps 🤔 Copilot helps me to connect it all together using scripts & https etc 🤯 But my point is this. Right now I have to build overly complicated "Frankenstein Moster" of system using non-compatible OS - Windows & Linux just to control local machine, this is major PiA 🙃 It would be so much easier if there were different OS versions of A0, that can natively control our machines with whatever system we have running it! Easy & simple, will always beat Linux! BTW Windows holds 69% of consumer market share in OS, and therefore more people will adapt Windows based Agent Zero! Honestly rather than dealing with Docker+A0+OC, I would rather just deal with A0 alone! The more apps I have to run the more strain on my old hardware 😭 While A0 is an interesting app to explore & maybe use only for web automation, I think I'll either use another better alternative of Openclaw or when is come out with better consumer version in couple month, I'll use that as my only or primary AI Agent app! Better newer versions of Openclaw coming out daily, there are other alternative options as well, without having to deal with overly complicated system that tends to crush, because one of them gets a new update 😱

Here is basic question, what is main primary purpose of A0 software. Is it to be AI Agentic Personal Assistant for consumer to run on local machine? Or advance tool for web developers to run on cloud servers? Because that's two very different target audiences with different incompatible needs. Again, according to data 69% of Consumer Global Market Share is Windows OS. Linux dominants in server market share is irrelevant to consumer user side. So, if A0 meant to be widely adopted & used by majority of consumers on their local machines running Windows there needs to be Windows Native version. Windows users are visual people like me, who prefer GUI interaction, and like our apps to have UI & UX as easy & simple as possible. Now thanks to AI Agents you can just talk to it and it does things, no need for typing or clicking buttons, that is future how most of us consumers will interact with computers. If on the other hand A0 meant to be niche only product for use on cloud servers by developers, than it can stick to Linux only version. But don't expect it to be widely accepted or adopted by basic consumer user. As much as I hate Apple, they do get it with their computers UX & UI, how consumer wants, minimum amount of effort for maximum benefit! Ie use 1 application (CoPilot, Openclaw, etc) to do everything instead of having to use 2+ (docker+A0+adopter+windows app) applications to achieve same goal. In, today's world where majority of people have ADD, we don't have time, patience or wish to learn how to deal with complicated systems! KISS principal rules, conservation of energy - Simple systems, always beats complicated!
