Yes, it should be 3. If you put both equations into Desmos and make t a slider, the goal is to move the slider until the two lines are parallel. A system has no solution when the lines never cross, which means they must have the same slope but different y-intercepts. When you slide t to 3, the two lines become parallel and never intersect. So the value of t is 3.
