[INSIGHTS] Sending raw files to a client...
Firstly, do you do this? Comment below. Secondly, if you do, do you just send the files and leave it? Or do you provide a document explaining how to use the files? I mention this because we rarely send raw files to clients, but on the rare occasions that we have, it has been disastrous. We receive constant emails back and forth about the videos being “grey” and lacking “colour” (since they are shot in log). Their “video editor” can’t seem to use the files or sometimes can’t even open them… The list goes on and on. So, what we decided to do is create a one-pager that explains what they will be receiving, how they can use the files, what to expect, and how to fix common issues (because they always encounter the same problems). Since implementing this, we rarely have clients who ask for raw footage come back complaining. Let me know if you want a copy of it, and I’ll share it exclusively in this community 🦾

[DJI NEO] First Impressions
I recently picked up the DJI Neo to test it out because I think it’s going to be a game changer for anyone new to the drone scene who wants to get started but has no idea how to fly. Honestly, it’s SUPER FUN! Okay, so the image quality isn’t the best, and it only has a single-axis gimbal (sorry if that lost you, newbies), but that’s not really the point. It’s not designed to compete with the Mavic 4 Pro or anything like that. I still have a lot of testing to do, plus I can’t wait to see my wife’s first reactions as she flies a drone for the very first time! If you have any questions or want me to check out something specific in my full review, drop them in the comments below, and I’ll make sure to look into it!
