It's been a while since I've been on here, I need to really keep up with stuff like this! I have been working on a lot of stuff last since I posted on here - here are some! hope ya'll have a great day :)))

Okay, so this was a project I did for college that I ended up scrapping but I really want to explore the character once more especially for halloween. I think my problem when it comes to references and finding those references to fit a character, I pick out outfit pieces that I think would go on until I look at it and go, "this is not what I imagined" even though I have a clear image in my head. He isn't supposed to look like a castlevania character haha. If anyone can help me with advice on how to avoid that and also give your intake on this on what I can improve on, that'll be great. Also, he's a vampire hunter and my goal for him is inspired by Van Helsing and want dark brooding colors for him haha with accents of red.

She's finally getting cooked up. Decided on the middle design but went forward and stuck to stripes so she doesn't have a complicated design. I also made her have a baseball bat, seems like her style for this halloween <3

I unfortunately couldn't finish the challenge but hopefully the next one I can do! For now, since October is here, let's make things a bit spookyyyyy! She don't have a name but I'm having trouble which colors to choose. I want the middle one because I think that fits her best. What do ya'll think?

This is Nerssa: A mermaid who lives in the depths of the sea, wandering in what was once a great kingdom of all living beings. She was a protector and now her soul keeps her fighting for something which no longer exists. I really loved making this character, it's always fun to draw mermaids specially because i like to play with the gesture of the poses, one thing that i find difficult is to push the design further, like adding more complex elements into the character, and then rendering it, also i wanted to try and use the color pallete of the references but i didn't know how to distribute the colors and where to put an accent color, so i kinda ended up making the hole character almost the same color, other than that i had a lot of fun with this callenge 😁. if you have any feedback, i would be very thankful to help me see how can i improve, thanks!
