Khemset App Explored
Hey all - I thought it would be fun to talk through some of my thoughts & feelings using the app. Check it out and let me know what you think - or better yet how you feel 😄

fun fact is whenever I used the khemset trainer I was able to do way better when focusing and choosing slowly than clicking quickly and randomly at cards but I need a bigger sample to verify this .

@Joey Gargiulo My theory on what you said is that , we know that as humans we are not primed to see reality for what it is ,so maybe reality is not a simulation or scripted(I don't know even if these terms have meaning except for humans) but I think we are primed to experience it this sort of way.The more someone tries to discover himself the more he has these glitches .If we accept that the way we experience reality is via our mind and its filters then what we experience may become more flexible and we steer away from the mentality of "things just happen to me".If you dont try to create your reality ,it's gonna happen anyway by the conditioning of your mind . For me the phrase "know thyself" means not knowing your character or what you like or hate or whatnot. It means that we're handed a dreammachine(our mind/body) and we have no idea how it works ,so reality seems random or unfair etc.
Trying the getaway experience tapes
Hi guys ,I decided to try out again on daily basis the getaway experience tapes by monroe institute .I have done this until day9 at some point a year ago but for some reason I stopped although the benefits were clear back then .Maybe some part of me is resisting change that's pretty radical yet positive.I'm someone that has meditated a lot but never adopted meditation as daily routine but also I've always had an issue in doing stuff that seem boring or a part of a routine and it feels like this is more costly for me the older I grow.I wanna use these daily meditations/visualizations as a stepping stone to improve my performance and life the following month .Has anyone tried these tapes and what's your feedback ?

Yea we re similar to this ,and you're right that the one thing I'm getting deprived of is outside time being an online poker player .The only thing I liked about going to the gym was the social aspect but havent put myself together to do it for the last 2years since I got some equipment here at home .But about meditating outside ,I'll certainly give it a try ,there is a forest 10minutes from home .I also love hiking too ,nature is the thing that makes me feel bliss more than anything.
Flow State
Would love to hear everyone's thoughts, experiences and feedback about Flow State. I will start the discussion off with this: I came across this recent study supporting how Flow State may be a whole brain phenomenon. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1053811926003642?utm_source=chatgpt.com Basically, a fascinating new 2026 NeuroImage study compared brain activity during flow, boredom and anxiety using EEG. The finding that grabbed me: During flow, the brain showed the highest overall connectivity, flexibility and complexity of dynamic activity. Researchers describe flow as a highly adaptable, metastable state, where different parts of the brain remain specialized while dynamically coordinating with one another. In simple terms, being “in the zone” may not just be a feeling. It may represent a measurable state where the brain becomes extraordinarily good at working together without becoming rigid. That raises a question I love: Do we enter flow by trying harder... or by finally getting ourselves out of the way? What do you think?

Thanks for sharing this !As a poker player I started out with an ultra rational materialistic mindset ,but my experience showed more and more that my results were directly correlated to my state of consciousness .Being in flow was always the most important factor .I havent found out how to induce this state on demand but even when caring and being dedicated to do my best in a session could put me in this state ,while something that annoys me or disappoints me could get me out .I'm inclined to think that flow state is the opposite of ego state which includes expectations ,judgement, entitlement, craving for gratification etc.If you find a way to let go of these and the sense of time and you sink into what you' re doing it's very possible that you get in flow. The way I experience flow when I play poker for example is mainly asking a lot of questions to myself about what's going on in the game ,so curiosity is a huge component of flow too i think.

Yea ,there are some physical cues for me like slower heart rate .I feel that heart rate is the main characteristic that shows how coherent we are .I think with a high heart rate it becomes impossible to play well at least for a while and I've seen this even with top chess players that have heart monitors on some tournaments that the best performers have a low heart rate on even crazy situations with very little time/chaotic positions.I personally have a higher heart rate usually so I'd take any tip on how to slow it down in game .Obviously thoughts play a role there too ,one thought maybe can make your heart race while thinking strictly technical stuff that about the game don't .
Greetings newcomers!
Hello everyone! Thanks for your interest in this community. I am curious if anyone has checked out any of the short courses I put in the classroom section, and if so if you have any thoughts, comments, or suggestions. I'm pretty new to skool but I'm excited about the platform and its recent growth so I figured I'd give it a shot. Transparently, I am mostly interested in sharing ideas that have helped me and am excited about being of service to others by sharing them. I'd encourage anyone who feels drawn to this ethos to also share your own ideas, experiences, or thoughts to keep the momentum going! I'll have some more posts coming about other ideas that I think will resonate and provide value, and will reveal something very exciting I've been working on for a while in the next month or 2! Lastly, I'm wondering if anyone would like to play some group Khemset sometime? It would be fun to see how we can work in the non-physical space as a group. I am a big believer in groups of people being able to accomplish things and break new ground that is significantly more challenging as an individual. Let me know and thanks again for being here!
Greetings newcomers!
