Hey! I have some of your old tracks on my hard drive, cool stuff!
I'm curious... What would YOU name this track?
I absolutely love making this high energy disco infused house tracks and I always find they seem to pair well with a slightly sad name. Melancholy is the number one emotion I seek to explore through my art. What's yours?

What’s more important to you as a music producer... 🎵
Perfecting your technical skills or developing a unique artistic voice? I see a lot of people obsessing over mastering every plugin and sound design trick, yet they still feel like their tracks don’t stand out. On the flip side, there are artists who don’t know much about mixing but have a distinct, captivating sound that people instantly recognize. Do you think technical mastery should come before cultivating your unique style, or is it the other way around? How do you balance the two, and what challenges have you faced in YOUR own journey?

Both need to develop simultaneously. If you feel style is more important, you’re not taking risks to do things you don’t already know how to do. If you think skill is more important, you’re not taking risks to say anything that hasn’t already been said
What are the best LIVE DJ sets you've seen?
I'm interested in preparing a live set with synths, guitar & midi interfaces and curious about artists you saw that mastered the art of live DJ sets. What is the best live DJ set you've seen? and what about the performance / gear made it special?

Great question! I love live or hybrid performances, and am putting together a live project myself. The top live performers I have seen, in no particular order: KiNK, Jon Hopkins, Rufus Du Sol, WhoMadeWho, Bob Moses, Jan Blomqvist, Bora Uzer, Rodriguez Jr., Kasablanca.
