๐ŸŽค Just had the pleasure of interviewing Faseela at KubeCon Europe 2025!
It was an inspiring conversation where we explored the heart of the cloud native community, the power of open source collaboration, and the future of tech through the lens of someone who's not only shaping itโ€”but leading it. Faseela, a Cloud Native Developer at Ericsson and co-chair of KubeCon EU 2025, shared amazing insights on: - Building inclusive contributor pathways - CNCFโ€™s evolving roadmap in AI, ML, telco, and beyond - Her journey to the CNCF Technical Oversight Committee ๐Ÿ’ก Whether you're a seasoned contributor or just getting started in open source, this is a conversation you donโ€™t want to miss. Watch the full video https://youtu.be/L_Ln7wvmxkE Letโ€™s keep growing, learning, and giving backโ€”together. #KubeCon2025 #CNCF #OpenSource #CloudNative #Community #DevOps #Kubernetes

Linus Torvalds Improves Futex Code To Improve User-Space Accesses
Linus Torvalds has contributed to the Linux 6.13 kernel with a performance optimization targeting the Futex (fast user-space mutex) code. This minor improvement streamlines user-space access by addressing inefficiencies in the __get_user() function and modernizing the futex_get_value_locked() implementation. The changes include using updated user access helpers and reducing unnecessary barriers, particularly for x86 architectures. The revised code, though small, has been positively reviewed by Josh Poimboeuf, who noted its correctness despite not re-benchmarking it yet. This optimization builds on Torvalds' earlier work in Linux 6.12 and is part of a broader range of enhancements arriving in Linux 6.13. These updates include new features, performance boosts, and contributions like Rust infrastructure, GPU improvements, and power-saving patches. Linux 6.13 is shaping up to be an exciting release for the community. https://www.phoronix.com/news/Linux-6.13-Torvalds-Futex
