🥷 Kettlebell Kumite #12 - IRON STREAK | OCTOBER 13, 2025 – NOVEMBER 9, 2025
The Kumite returns with a new challenge: the IRON STREAK. THE MISSION Forge consistency through iron discipline. Your goal: train at least 3 days per week from October 13 to November 9, 2025. This Kumite isn’t about how much you lift — it’s about how long you last! Show up, stay committed, and keep your streak alive. HOW TO JOIN Step 1 – Comment on this post to confirm your entry into the Iron Streak. Step 2 – Start training. Any kettlebell workout counts. Step 3 – After each training day, comment on this post to log your progress. Optional: Share a photo or video to inspire your fellow warriors in the Dojo. GAME RULES Consistency is the key. Each participant must train on 3 different days per week. Multiple sessions in one day count as one training day. Training more than 3 days doesn’t earn extra points — it simply strengthens your resolve. POINT SYSTEM Points are tallied weekly. You earn 1 point per training day, up to 3 points per week.Your total score is the sum of all weekly points across the entire Kumite. Example: Loosey Goosey trained 3 days last week and earned 3 points. This week, he trained 2 days — bringing his total to 5 points. FINAL NOTES This is a kettlebell-only Kumite. All kettlebell sessions count — any weight, any format, any length. You can follow a single program throughout or mix it up each session. The Iron Streak is an individual challenge, but the journey is shared. We move together — built on consistency, curiosity, and a love for kettlebells. SCOREBOARD Your progress gets tracked here: Iron Streak Scorboard THANK YOU Big thanks to @Ionut Lazau and the Mod-Squad for igniting and refining the idea. Dojo Mods are putting in serious work to keep everybody engaged!

🥷 Kettlebell Kumite #10 - BELTS OF FURY | March 26, 2025 – May 31, 2025
*THE MISSION* Climb the belt ranks by completing tests, earning points as you go. Your goal: finish Kumite #10 as the top-ranking warrior in the Dojo! *HOW TO JOIN* Step 1 – Announce Your Entry Comment below to join the Kumite. Include the highest belt exam you've passed so far (belt color and kettlebell weight). Step 2 – Start Climbing Train and work toward your next belt test. Each time you pass a new one, post it in the comments - including the following details: - Belt color - Bell Weight - Link to the test post (from the Belt Test section or your YouTube video) *GAME RULES* - Begin from your highest previously achievement - Only new tests (ones you haven’t completed before) count for points - Example: If your last belt test was Green Belt Advanced, you’ll only earn points for Blue Advanced and beyond – or White Pro, Yellow Pro, etc. - Use the Belt Test Guide in the Classroom to plan your path *POINT SYSTEM* - Beginner: 12 points (Women: 8kg / Men: 12kg) - Advanced: 18 points (Women: 12kg / Men: 16kg) - Pro: 24 points (Women: 16kg / Men: 24kg) - Interim Weights: 6 points (While not official test weights, interim bells help prep for heavier tests and still earn you points — e.g., 10kg for women, 20kg for men) *FINAL REMINDER* This isn’t just about scoring points. Let’s also: - Share training strategies for different belt levels - Help each other when stuck - Take the time to train safely - there's no rush, especially for the higher-level tests!a THANK YOU Big thanks to @Carsten Bramkamp for designing this challenge, inspired by @Fergus Watson and @Lucy F . And shout-out to the Dojo Mod Squad for refining it into its final form. Thanks to @Ionut Lazau for the final edit! We hope you enjoy Kumite #10!
