There is some crazy stuff happening out there. People are killing relatives. Blatant acts of infidelity is being expose. Families are under attack. FAMILIES ARE UNDER ATTACK! Our families may not be at the same level of risk as the examples I just gave; however, the enemy will constantly look for ways to divide and conquer. He will look for ways to destroy. Pray for your family! Pray with your Family! Some time this week. Don't delay! You never know what can happen when your family joins together in prayer. I LOVE MY SON! I actually love all of my kids. And I love spending time with them, even at this age...the young adult/teen ages...(especially at this age). SO WHEN my 25 year old son says, "Hey dad, do you want to go with me to the Commanders Draft Party?" Even though I'm not into the Commanders to the level that I go to draft parties, he's asking for some time with his pops. I can't deny or discount that. I value that. I look forward to those moments. With that said, the draft is tomorrow (Thursday). We are schedule to have a WINNING HUDDLE WITH HUSBANDS & FATHERS but I'm choosing my son. I hope that won't discourage folks to attend future huddles. I plan to resume NEXT Thursday at 7:30pm (note the time change). Hey, if you want, you can join us at the draft. In the meantime, always remember and never forgt... FAMILY REALLY MATTERS!

Hey guys. I apologize. I've been out of pocket. Susan suffered a fall and a broken ankle last week. She's doing well over all. It's just an adjustment. I have picked up responsibilities around the house, which has cause me to neglect time here in the community. But...this is all apart of family. Situations happen to family and we have to readjust. Readjust schedules, roles, priorities. My aim/role has been to serve my wife in this unexpected season. As I type this know that we are 30 minutes away from heading to the hospital so that Susan can have surgery. If you read this between now and 5pm today, please remember to keep her in prayer, as well as, pray for her recovery. Anybody have any testimonies or tips from overcoming broken bones or other illnesses, and how the family rallied and readjusted? Please share...after all, this is intended to be COMMUNITY!

Let's have some fun! For some, it may be weird to discuss SEX in a "Family" space. For me, it's necessary. CRUCIAL! Without sex...there would be no family. Am I right? And unfortunately, when the kids arrive, a lot of married couples end up...without sex. If you know me, know my story, you know that I've had some healing to do with my understanding of sex and how it should rightfully be approached in marriage.
