It's wonderful to have you here @Michelle Pallant @Franco Calabrese @Tamara Payne @César Bermedo 🙏 Whether you've just discovered the handpan, have been playing for years, or you're simply curious about where this journey might lead... welcome to The Handpan Temple. 🎶 I'd love to get to know you all! 👇 Tell us a little about yourself: 🌍 Where are you joining from? 🥁 Do you already own a handpan? If so, what scale do you play? ✨ And what inspired you to join this community? I'll start... I'm Ale from Australia 🇦🇺. After 10 years exploring the handpan, my passion has become helping people discover that they are far more musical than they believe. 🙌 I'm looking forward to hearing your stories and watching this community grow together. 🌱

🎶 Every handpan has a story...
This one almost never made it to me. Over 6 years ago I designed this custom scale and asked the maker to give it a finish that looked like Aladdin's lamp...something ancient, as if it had been buried in the sand for years. 🪔 Then COVID hit... The handpan disappeared somewhere around LAX for more than six months. I honestly thought it was gone forever. But somehow... it found its way to me. 🙏 The funny part? After spending so long sealed inside the box, it had developed a slight oxidation that made it look almost exactly like I'd imagined when I first designed it. Since then, it's travelled all around Australia with me, and this week it inspired this new composition. One of the things I love most is helping people discover the sound they're truly looking for. Every scale has its own personality, and if you're ever dreaming of a custom handpan, I'd be happy to help you design an instrument that suits your musical taste and the way you want to express yourself. 🤔 I'd love to know from you... What's the story behind your handpan? Was it love at first sound? 💛 Why did you choose that particular scale? Or, if you don't own one yet, what kind of sound are you most drawn to? Share your story below...I can't wait to read it. 👍

Welcome to The Handpan Temple
Hello everyone, and thank you for being here. I created this space because I believe music isn't something reserved for musicians. It's something we all carry within us. Whether you already own a handpan or you're simply curious about this beautiful instrument, my hope is that this community becomes a place where you can learn, grow and connect through sound. To begin, I'd love to hear from you: ✨ Where are you joining from? ✨ Have you ever played music before? ✨ What is it about the handpan that called you here? Feel free to introduce yourself below. I'd love to meet each of you. Ale

@Alessandro Antonucci Thank you
🎉 Welcome to our mini series... Pan of the Month! 🎉
One of the biggest things I notice when people start learning the handpan is that they often don't really know the instrument they're holding. 🤔 But understanding how the notes relate to each other is where the real magic begins. ✨ So in this series, we'll explore different handpan scales, map out the notes, discover the chords hidden inside, and uncover what makes each instrument unique. EPISODE 1: Today we're starting with the beautiful D Celtic Minor ( Amara): one of the most loved scales in the handpan world. 💙 Whether you already own one or you're simply curious, I hope this helps you connect a little deeper with the instrument. 👇 I'd love to know... What's the scale of your handpan? Or if you don't have one yet... which scale has captured your heart so far? 🎶 Enjoy the journey! 🙏
