I’m 24, been with a 32 year old lady for a year now. She suspected I was engaging with other women online and ended the relationship. I was not entertaining anyone and promptly left after this occurred. It’s been 4 days since she said “we’re done” and now she is blowing up my phone with essays apologizing and begging me to allow her back into my life, because only now that she’s lost me, she can see the value that I provided. Saying she would do anything to be with me again. I’ve never tried monogamy, so I gave it a chance, she cooked all my meals for me and took care of me. After I brought up that I will need to see other women in the future, our relationship became laced with frequent disagreements. We did a lot of stuff and had a lot of fun, but I’d say I allowed her to be more of a distraction than a help meat. My question is, do I allow this woman back into my life? She’s communicating in her texts she will do anything to be with me. But I worry the previous patterns may come out due to familiarity. Regardless, the only way that makes sense to me is that if I allow her back, I will no longer be monogamous to her, and she needs to be putting in overtime to take care of me. I appreciate all criticism, I’m here to learn the game and hear hard truths.
