Im new here! Sorry for the name I value my privacy! So my name on here is my horses name! He is my first horse to call my own! I’m a female in my 30s. A little background! I grew up riding and have always been around horses! Used to compete at barrels, poles and western pleasure on my first horse (family horse). I have some experience training but it’s been a while. My horses name is Pistol he is a 8 year old sorrell quarter horse! He is green broke and officially threw me the other day! 😅 Not my first time coming off a horse and I’m sure it won’t be my last! I am super excited about this course as I value all the information I can get! Anything to help me grow as an individual and professional! Thanks for accepting me in this community! P.S. before you comment yes I know the breast collar is too loose! I tried adjusting it but it’s too big for him! It has been taken off!

No worries! Privacy is important! Pistol is a very nice looking horse! What are your long term plans with him? Besides general behavior improvement.

@Pistol Horse that’s awesome! Sorta getting snagged on the horn can definitely change plans lol 😂 I’m not positive but if head shyness is his biggest issue we can tackle that first! I’ll post a reply in the community tab in reference to that. Next time you’re with him, feel free to grab a video if how he responds to the halter and your hands ect and I’ll be able to help ! Thanks!
