Japa Meditation is a practice using Mala Beads, typically 180 beads with one large guru bead and attached to a tassel or talisman. The practice involves silently or speaking out loud a mantra. The repetition of the mantra for each bead creates a chant and helps to bring focus to your meditation practice. A daily Japa practice of 40 days can aid in bringing forth clarity, self-discipline and focus, even stopping an addiction. I became aware of Japa meditation in 2019 and as the Universe will have it, the practice has been calling me to re-engage and come back to it. I’ve been struggling with smoking cessation for a few years now. I’ll stop and then pick it up again. I’m putting two and two together and realized I’m being called to benefit from Japa for smoking cessation. Now, it’s been a while since I’ve practiced Japa and I would like to maximize the benefits and get back into the daily practice first before honing in on a particular focus. I begin soon and warmly invite you to join the experience with me. Whether you’re wanting a daily practice for inner peace, to help stop an addiction, mental clarity and enlightenment, or simply to engage holistically and heal a wound. #nextpost ⬇️… Will be of how to begin your practice, selecting your mantra and how to ground yourself in closing your practice. Drop a mala bead 📿 if you’ll be journeying along with me 🥰 Subscribe if you feel called
