This was a great video! Very informative, and I really enjoy your perspective on reactivity. I’ve honestly been struggling with my border collies reactivity since we got her when she was 3 years old. We’ve definitely come along way since I actually learned about reactivity and started trying to resolve it myself, But I guess I never had a true plan to go with. I just watched a bunch of different YouTube trainers and pick and took what I thought would be good to implement. Since then I’ve minimized exposure to triggers and started working on engagement and structured walking. Nice been doing this for 3 weeks, this will be the fourth. After this week I was planning on starting some desensitization work, pretty much along the lines of what you’re saying here. Id love to try and get some footage and maybe post for some feedback!
