What's good, MMA4AM! First, I want to thank Jake for allowing me to be part of this community. I'm grateful to be here and excited to connect, learn, grow, and build alongside all of you. As I've been reading through the posts and getting a feel for the group, one thing has really stood out to me: This doesn't seem like a place for perfection—it seems like a place for growth. Life will bring both victories and setbacks. Some days we'll feel strong, focused, and motivated. Other days we'll feel tired, discouraged, and uncertain. But from what I've seen so far, the mindset here is that, regardless of the season, we keep showing up. We show up for ourselves. We show up for our families. We show up for our goals. We show up for our faith. And we show up for each other. That's what community is all about. The scripture that came to mind as I was reflecting on this group is James 1:4-8: NIV [4]Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. [5] If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. [6] But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. [7] That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. [8] Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.
