Positioning Statement: I help enterprise Java teams modernize legacy systems so they can ship changes faster with fewer production failures.
👋 Introduce Yourself to the Inbound Experts
The more we understand your business, the more useful our advice and feedback can be. Copy the template below, create a post in the community and fill in the blanks. Introduction template Name: Where are you based? What do you do? Who is your ideal client? What offer are you currently selling? How do most of your clients currently find you? What is happening on LinkedIn right now? For example: posting inconsistently, getting likes but no leads, relying on referrals, unclear positioning or not posting at all. What is your biggest bottleneck? What result would make joining this community an obvious success? Your LinkedIn profile: One thing about you that has nothing to do with business: You do not need to make your introduction perfect. Honest and specific beats impressive and vague. After posting your introduction, welcome at least two other members and leave them a thoughtful comment. Strong communities are not built by people silently consuming content. They are built by people who participate, help each other and share what is actually happening. We’re glad you’re here. 👇 Post your introduction now.

My name is Ahmed Tawila. I am based in Cairo, Egypt. I am a senior backend engineer and team lead. My ideal client is a European company that needs a senior backend engineer to launch a new web, mobile app, or backend system, or add new features to it, or improve its performance. My offer is not very specific. Throughout my career I was employed at companies working as a junior developer having specific features to implement, performance bottlenecks to fix, and a senior developer working on more vague projects and owning complete products from requirements to delivery, and as a team lead coaching my teammates, doing code reviews, mentoring them and owning delivery end-to-end. Most of my clients find me on LinkedIn. I launched my website last week where I added two articles I've posted previously on LinkedIn. I post on LinkedIn in an intermittent manner (not regularly). My current bottleneck is that I am currently between roles and looking for a client to work with so I am not currently employed. Another thing is whoever makes the decisions to hire me is usually not the actual client. It is team leads, engineering managers, VPs of engineering, and CTOs so I don't hear customer feedback all the time. What would make joining this community an obvious success is that I find a client to work with — ideally in Europe. My LinkedIn profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/ahmed-tawila-98ba163a/ A few things about me that has nothing to do with business is that I am a husband and a father of three boys.
