So when I was in my 20s, my sister-in-law and I and our husbands lived together in this old rental house. We had to deal with the Landlord that they would buy materials and we would fix it up. The kitchen faucet had calcium scale all around the outside of it and one night when our husbands were at work my sister-in-law and I decided we were going to replace that faucet. I mean, how hard can a faucet be to replace. I’ve done it before.. We couldn’t get the fittings to turn, so I banged on them, and banged on them, and banged on them some more. We almost got the faucet loosened up when we started hearing water running in the basement. Our husbands had to come home early from work that night to repair all of the damage that we had done by banging on those pipes so much on an old plumbing system.

👉 Ask the “Stupid” Question (and Move Down the Pipe)
🟡 FOLLOW THE YELLOW PIPE… OR STAY STUCK 😏 Quick one before you scroll… I’ve always said this: “Ask stupid questions. Worst case — we laugh, then we sort it.80% of the people laughing wanted to know the answer anyway.Better to ask than stay stupid forever.” That’s how this place works. You start at the bottom of the pipe (same as everyone else). Then you move by actually getting involved: • Ask when you’re stuck• Help when you can• Don’t just sit there quietly watching The more you show up, the further you go. 🏆 Every month: I pick the most helpful person (not the noisiest) 👉 You get a FREE 1-on-1 live session with me on a topic of your choice. And the closer you get to Wizard Os…the easier it is to get direct help when you need it. So yeah… Ask the “stupid” question. Chances are, it’s the one everyone else needed answered. Or don’t… and stay stuck 😄👇

Ooh oh I have one. I have a shower whose drain is down line from the kitchen sink by, I’m estimating maybe a foot. Up line? Down line? I don’t know the drain from the shower runs past the kitchen sink on the way out to the Septic. Anyway, when things start to run a little slow in the shower drain that usually means that somebody put a little grease down the kitchen sink and things are getting a little backed up. I’ve lived here for about six years and have had to have a plumber come out twice to snake the drain. Since I know that white vinegar breaks up grease and is a wonderful cleaning agent, but I also know it can corrode metal over time. But I have PVC pipes running through the house. I’m wondering if I can pour vinegar down the drain every once a while to help keep that pathway clear? Or is there something down the line that I’m going to corrode and regret this overtime?
