Last year the Golden Oldies club in our town invited me to talk to them during one of their monthly get togethers.. My topic was Seize the Grey - Growing older gracefully - it's your choice. This opportunity sparked in me an interest and desire to put action where my mouth was. Since I teach Pilates classes as well, I thought to combine that with my coaching skills. I started a weekly Movement class for free for 60+rs in our community. During these sessions, we not only focus on the physical side, but we also share valuable information and golden nuggets on how to live life to the fullest, even while getting older. I coach on any topic the group comes up with. Other times I prepare something short. But I like to keep it relaxed and organic. Life is such a beautiful gift and growing grey and old should not mean that there's no more growth opportunities. Coaching has no age restrictions!

Your thinking determines your emotions, and your thinking and emotions leads to your actions, behaviour, responses. Saying it in reverse it means your behaviour is determined by what you feel and think. If you want to change the way you feel or behave in a specific situation, you need to start by becoming aware, understand and change your thinking behind that emotion or response. You think all the time. Your thoughts are a continuous dialogue you have with yourself. Do you take time out to think about your thinking? Do you take every thought captive - especially the toxic ones? Does your thinking become intentional? 3 questions you can ask yourself to analyse and process your thoughts: ◦ Is this thought true or is it my opinion, my perception? ◦ Is this thought serving me? Is it helping me? ◦ Is this thought honouring my Creator? A no answer to any of these questions is an indication that there is a need for changing the way you think. Let’s start today to think about our thinking. Lets live life!
