Learning Dispatching One Step at a Time 🚛
One thing I’ve learned so far is that dispatching is about much more than just finding loads. A good dispatcher helps carriers stay profitable, avoid costly mistakes, communicate effectively with brokers, and keep trucks moving. As I’m building my dispatching business, I’m focusing on understanding the unique challenges reefer carriers face, especially issues like spoiled loads, rejected freight, detention delays, and maintaining proper documentation. My goal is to become the type of dispatcher who prevents problems before they happen, not just someone who books loads. For the experienced dispatchers in this group: What’s one lesson you wish you had learned sooner when you first started dispatching? Looking forward to learning from everyone! 🚚💨 #TruckDispatching #FreightDispatch #ReeferTrucking #Logistics #BusinessGrowth #SkoolCommunity

Mid-Year Check-In (curious if anyone else feels this)
We’re already halfway through the year, and I’ve been noticing how many people in this space are trying to build something stable for themselves dispatching, trucking support, and remote logistics work. One thing that’s been standing out to me lately is how much difference it makes when your “online presence” actually matches what you offer clearly. Even something simple like how you present yourself or explain your service can change how clients respond. I recently saw this again through someone close to me who’s been helping service-based businesses set up proper online pages. A lot of them were already skilled, but things became easier once everything was clearer and more structured online. It kind of made me realize… sometimes it’s not about doing more outreach, it’s just about being easier to understand and trust. Anyway, just sharing this here because I know a lot of people here are trying to get more consistent work. What’s been the hardest part for you so far this year getting consistent clients, or building a system that actually brings in steady work?

Yes! The online presence it’s what’s kinda scaring me because I don’t really have one outside of my personal social medias. I don’t want that to be a hinderance to my business ya know

@Jean Braids I think it’s really knowing what to say. I’m not a shy person at all but this just feels a little more intimidating than just being Afrika if that makes sense
Marketing
What kind of marketing are you guys starting off with ? I’m not really great with content creating though it’s something I’m leaning. Any tips would be great 🙌🏾

@Kristal Davila yea I’m playing around with faceless content so we’ll see how that goes
Hello everyone,
My name is Julia, and I live in Virginia. My goal is to build a successful truck dispatching business and earn at least $10,000+ per month. The three main things I hope to gain from this course and community are: 1. Learning how to properly start and set up my own truck dispatching business. 2. Understanding the day-to-day process of dispatching trucks effectively. 3. Learning the details of the industry, including how to generate consistent revenue and grow a profitable business. In my free time, I enjoy: 1. Creating beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets. 2. Learning new things and doing research on topics that interest me. 3. Cooking meals and spending time with my family. I would also love to know more about everyone’s experience in the trucking and dispatching industry. How long have you been in business, and where are you currently in your journey?
