Tiny Step🪴 Jan 16, 2026
Hello to our amazing women 💛 If you’re new here, each Friday we share one simple Tiny Step, something gentle, doable, and realistic, even on full days. These are small actions meant to create a little more peace and clarity right where you are. This week’s Tiny Step is a grounding practice designed to bring a sense of calm into your body in under a minute. It’s called 5-Sense Grounding. Whenever you remember today or this weekend, pause for a moment and gently name: 1 thing you can see 1 thing you can hear 1 thing you can feel 1 thing you can smell Then take 1 slow, intentional breath That’s it. Just coming back into the moment. I hope this brings you a small pocket of peace wherever you are today. 😊

@Connie Riet In the premium membership do you have any yoga sessions/practices?

@Connie Riet Hi Connie, I personally feel yoga sessions would be a beautiful and valuable addition to this space. Yoga brings such a lovely balance of mindfulness, connection, and self-care, which aligns so well with the intention of this community. I would definitely be interested and feel it could support many of us in nurturing both body and mind 🤍🌿

It’s been 11 years since my boys asked me to go “look” at the dogs at the shelter. On Friday the 13 of March, we brought Harper home. She’s been a blessing. ( most of the time. 😂😉😘) ….. wouldn’t have had it any other way. We took her in for an appointment at the vet a couple weeks ago as we felt she wasn’t feeling very well. Today she had a procedure and we found out she has colorectal cancer – the size of an orange. Only thing to do now is love her and keep her comfortable. She probably has around six more months to live. I never thought knowing we would only have limited time with her would be so hard. 😢 Anyone else go through this, and have wisdom to share. 💕❤️💕❤️

My heart truly goes out to you Jennifer 🤍. Pets become such beautiful family members, and the love and memories they give stay forever. I haven’t personally gone through this, but I can only imagine how heavy it must feel knowing time is limited. Harper sounds so deeply loved, and I truly believe animals feel that love and comfort more than anything. Cherishing these moments, giving her warmth, presence, and affection is such a beautiful gift for both of you. Sending you and Harper so much love and strength during this tender time 💕

Whenever I tune into my inner child, I always have so much fun. It's as if "little Connie" says, "Yes! Let's play, run, dig in the dirt, hike a mountain, and have FUN." I feel lighter, at ease, and contented. Taking a daily walk is nothing exciting or new. But yesterday, I did something I haven't done since I was a little girl in Utah. I packed a lunch and went on an adventure, all by myself. No agenda, no All Trails, no time limits. I explored the mountains around our tiny village and found the PERFECT picnic spot. Sun, river, mountains...it's a little slice of heaven.

This is so beautiful and heartwarming Connie🤍 Reconnecting with our inner child brings such pure joy and freedom. It reminds me how healing it is to slow down, trust the moment, and simply allow ourselves to experience life with curiosity and lightness. Your peaceful picnic spot sounds like such a soulful and nourishing experience 🌿✨
