Changes to the community
Hey Everyone - I have really appreciated the opportunity to connect here with you all! I've decided to close down this community! 1. It cost's me $99 month to host this on Skool! 2. I have had to make some changes to my business and having weekly meetings is something I'm not able to commit too. Appreciate you all! If you have questions feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]

Thanks for your time and everything so far Joel. Wishing you all the best in your business for 2025 and a happy new year!
Who is your audience?
We discussed this again in yesterdays call- If you want to monetize you need to be extremely clear on who your target market is! Who follows you? Who engages with you? So I'll ask you - Who is in your audience. I'll go first! Recruiters and HR professionals. Job seekers How about you?

Followers and connections is easy its jobseekers, recruiters and HR personnel both at clients I work with and potential ones I am hoping to convert. Writing content for Job Seekers I am ok with. But its the writing the content part to convert HR into new clients that is the hurdle I want to overcome in 2025.
How Monetize content?
Yesterday in our call - this question came up! So I thought that on Friday during our call we could cover this. Here's what we will cover: Affiliate marketing, Brand deals, Social selling, Media kits... Let me know what questions you have! looking forward to making money!!! Joel

I am very interested in the social selling aspect of the call I also won't be able to join but look forward to the recap
Content consistency
For the past 5 years, I have posted multiple times a day on social media - It's the biggest reason I've grown from 11,000 connections on Linkedin (built during my 5 years as a recruiter) to almost 1 million followers. I realize that this is probably overkill depending on your goals for most people, but I'd love to get an idea of how often you're posting. My general rule is the more content the better...

I know consistency is key, which for me is difficult to maintain. I try and post at least once a week, but do want to get up to 3 times a week and have a mix of posts - candidate, job postings, what we as an agency do as the aim is to bring more clients on board

@Larry Anderson agree - job search tips always get a lot of traffic and I have also found when I do posts about how to position your LinkedIn profile posts also attract a lot of traffic
I'm big on supporting one another on social media - let's connect
I am NOT a fan of engagement pods where engagement is required. I am a FAN of supporting content you resonate with but it can be hard to discover new content and people. Feel free to drop your social media handles here: I'll go first: I have a bunch - Here is my Linkedin :https://www.linkedin.com/in/joellalgee/ Everywhere else just search TheRealestrecruiter, I should pop up! You?

Thanks for starting this thread Joel I agree I am also only a fan of supporting content that resonates with me and where I can learn something from it This is something I hope I convey to my audience when writing content as well, but its still a learning curve Happy to connect with anyone here https://www.linkedin.com/in/adigoldsmith/
