Let’s Get to Know Each Other
Hi everyone! I thought it could be nice to get to know each other a bit better here in the group. So I had the idea that anyone who wants can share some pictures of what you’re working on. I’d love to see what you’re doing, what you’ve done, or what you’re planning to do in the future. Of course, this is completely voluntary, no pressure at all to post anything if you don’t feel like it. 😊 As some of you have seen, I’ve already shared a few pictures from my time as a flight instructor. I’ll add a few recent ones from the work i am doing now, plus some from earlier in my career.

Is now a risky time to become a pilot?
What do you guys think? Is the current conflict in the Middle East likely to impact pilot job opportunities in the coming years? Also, do you think pursuing a career as a pilot right now is a smart move?

@Katy Hansen Yes, good point. I guess we will have a period with fewer available cockpit jobs in the next months or years. But I have also observed the following over the last decades: aviation is cyclical. Every time there is a job shortage, fewer people start a pilot career. Then, when aviation recovers and more pilots are needed, there are fewer newly trained pilots entering the market. Therefore, I believe it can be best to start pilot training when the outlook seems worse, because you may finish just as demand begins to grow again. But that is just my observation, there are no guarantees, of course.

That way, new members from other countries can follow along as well. I hope this community will continue to grow, but we all have to start somewhere. 🙂 Did you get a chance to read the little eBook I created? If yes, what did you think of it?
