@Kuuno Deruyter so you have plenty roses to work with! And that’s a sweet reason to create - that’s why I started too 😁

Adrian - How to Breed Roses
Hi there, I’m Adrian and I put together this group to help others hybridize their first rose. I didn’t even know roses could be grown from seed or how new varieties were created. I just saw roses and bouquets in the store and at flower shops and didn’t think much of it. I came across a gorgeous rose during my stays in Poland and discovered it is Cinco de Mayo. Through my research I came across HelpMeFind.com where its parentage is listed. I had an epiphany in that moment. Roses are bred. People breed them. I can do it too! So I bought my first rose, a hybrid tea named Apricot Candy, and started my rose hybridization journey. I did countless research and bred a few of my own roses and now I’m discovering that many of you are in the same situation I was. Just now discovering that roses can be grown from seed. So I’m here to take you through that journey. Whatever your motive is: - you love to create - you want your own rose - you want to create a rose for a loved one I’m here to help you get started 🙏🏼
