One of the best parts of being a founder is getting into rooms with people who are building real things. Yesterday I had the opportunity to meet Marquis Forge, CEO of MRaine Industries and founder of Eleven86 Real Artesian Water, at the Auburn University Entrepreneurship & Small Business Development event in Birmingham. What stood out to me was the conversation around ownership, manufacturing, distribution, and what it takes to build a company from the ground up. As someone building Microverse by TraylorMade, I am constantly looking for examples of founders who have done the hard work of creating products, building infrastructure, and serving their communities.
