𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗺,👊🏾::: About a month ago we sat with this exact thing in my community. The GPT situation. Well. It's in writing now. But I tested it this morning on my Plus account and I still built one. Shareable link and everything. So the door's not closed. It's closing. Let me break it down. -------------------------- 🗞️ 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 🗞️ 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗔𝗜 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗣𝗧 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴. Their help pages now say it in bold: "New GPT creation and publishing are not available on personal ChatGPT accounts, including Free, Go, Plus, and Pro." That's Free, Go, Plus, and Pro. Publishing to the GPT Store goes with it. Creating, editing, and publishing move over to Business, Enterprise, and Edu workspaces. And no announcement came with it. No blog post, no release note, no email. They updated a few help pages and kept it moving. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁: I went and tested it before writing this, and it worked. Built a fresh GPT on Plus, got the shareable link, no problem. So the policy is written but it hasn't landed on every account yet. Could be today, could be next month. I can't tell you the timing and it doesn't look like they're planning to either. And the GPTs you already have keep working. No shutdown date has been named for those. Why it matters to you: think about setting your chair up in somebody else's barbershop. You bring your own clippers, you build your own book, the work is yours. Then one day the shop decides who gets a chair. Your clippers are still yours. The chair never was. So while the door is still open, go build the ones you actually need. Then pull the instructions out of the GPT and keep a copy somewhere you own. A doc. A note. A file on your machine. The instructions are the real asset. The container was always borrowed. That's what my morning looks like ~ knocking out the last few I want while I can. I stopped building GPTs to sell a while back because this looked like where it was headed. Mine are just for sharing in my Skool community. And I'm not upgrading a personal plan to a workspace plan to keep a feature. If the tool is moving, I'd rather put that energy into things I get to keep.

𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗺,👊🏾::: Manus is walking away from Meta. And on the way out, some people's work is getting wiped off the platform. If you ever ran a single task over there, this one's got a clock on it. Let me break it down. -------------------------- 🗞️ 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 🗞️ 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 ~ 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗽𝗹𝗶𝘁 Meta bought Manus back in December for about $2 billion. Chinese regulators looked at that deal, said no, and ordered it undone. So Manus is going back to being its own company. To make that legal in certain countries, they have to delete data that some users created on or after December 29, 2025 ~ the day the Meta deal closed. The deletion runs August 23 through August 24. This is not a hack. Not a breach. Just what it costs when a $2 billion deal comes apart. Now the part that's gonna catch people. Manus published the deadline as 7:59 a.m. August 23 ~ but that's Singapore time. On your clock, the backup window slams shut at 𝟳:𝟱𝟵 𝗣𝗠 𝗘𝗧 𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟮𝟮. Not the 23rd. Read that one twice. Not everybody's affected. Manus is notifying people in the app and by email. If you signed up with Apple ID or Facebook, they don't have your email at all ~ the in-app notice is the only warning you get. So open the app and look. If you're affected and you don't back up, that work doesn't come back. Backups are free, the tool lets you run it more than once, and restore opens 8:00 PM ET on August 24. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂: If you built anything over there ~ a research doc, a deck, a site, a workflow you'd have to rebuild from scratch ~ that's your work. Yours. Even if you left Manus months ago and never looked back. It's like moving out of an apartment you already moved out of. Lease is done either way. You still drive back for the box in the closet, because the box is yours. I pulled mine and I don't even use Manus anymore. Took a few minutes. 𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗺,👊🏾::: [ PROMPT SHARE ] ::: We say AI all day. AI this, AI that. But we never really stop and pull the word apart. So let's pull it apart together. 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 just means made. Built, not grown. Machine, not human. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 is the part we skip right past. And that part is knowledge. That's it. That's what's sitting in your pocket right now. Knowledge. More of it than any library you've ever walked into. And knowledge is the thing that moves a life. Knowledge opens doors. Knowledge shows you a road you didn't know was there. Knowledge takes you past the edge of what you already know how to do. You want to write a book and you've never written one? The knowledge of how to write a book is already in there. Sitting there. Waiting on you. You get what I'm saying? You want to fix your credit, start a business, plant a garden, understand what the doctor just told you? Same thing. It's in there. Now here's the part that matters. The ocean doesn't jump into your cup. You have to go get it. And how you ask is the whole game. That's the real skill. Not "using AI." 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝘁.
