Ask Me Anything
What's the one burning question you have about screenwriting, filmmaking, producing, or directing? The thing that's been stuck in your head. The thing you haven't found a straight answer to. The thing keeping you from moving forward. Drop it in the comments. I'll answer.

How do you get people to reveal the stories, emotions, and truths they don't initially plan to share on camera? is that a good thing!

@Melissa Butler Thank you, these were very generous gems.
A Million Paths Which 1 is for You
There are many roads to the same place. I see so many gurus, trying to convince people that they know the way. And while they may know a way, it is not the ONLY way and it may not be the way for you. It is imperative before you start working with anybody that you understand who you are, what you're willing to do. What you're not willing to do and have a general sense of what you want your career to look like. This will prevent you from going down a path that doesn't align with your goals or who you are. Because choosing the wrong path many times will set you back months, if not years. In the comments, let me know what your dream career looks like. And I'll suggest a couple of ways for you to get there.

@Melissa Butler A dream career for me is one where I get paid to think, build, teach, and connect people. A mix of brand strategy, AI, education, media, and entrepreneurship.
Tribeca Festival accepted a fully AI-generated feature
The acceptance of AI-generated film into a major festival changes everything! And every writer and filmmaker needs to pay attention. "Dreams of Violets" is 75 minutes long and cost $2,000 to make. It was created by two brothers, Ash and Pooya Koosha, Iranian-born filmmakers, with no crew, no actors, no cameras, and no locations. This says a lot about AI's mainstream acceptance. The current model of film & TV, and where it's headed. What are your thoughts about AI? Drop the good, bad, ugly, or whatever in the comments and let's talk.

The headline is that two creators had an idea and no longer needed permission, funding, a crew, or a studio to bring it to life. That's the real disruption. Change is here if you see it.

@Ernest Sandefer You nailed it, democratization vs displacement. AI lowers the barrier to create, but it doesn't replace taste, vision, or a story worth telling. That's still human territory.
