Jane Goodall Release + Friday Listening Party
What if everything you’ve been told about evolution—and your place in it—is only half the story? What if studying chimpanzees isn’t just biology… but a mirror into human behavior, power, and consciousness itself? While writing about Jane Goodall, I kept coming back to one uncomfortable truth: humans aren’t separate from nature—we’re deeply entangled in it. We share over 99.98% of our DNA with chimps, yet we build systems that act like we’re above everything. Studying primates doesn’t just teach us about “them”—it exposes us. Our violence, our empathy, our hierarchies, our cooperation—it’s all there. The real lesson isn’t that we came from monkeys (we didn’t), but that we’re still animals navigating complex social systems… just with better branding. And if you really sit with that, it forces you to rethink everything from society to consciousness itself. If you want the deeper breakdown of evolution, human behavior, and what we can actually learn from primates, read the full blog here: https://fiense.com/blog/jane-goodall 🎧 Track: https://youtu.be/6VI7YoGz1Hc?si=wao1_TdzLwblrx50

Wow, this is really thought-provoking! I like how you connected human behavior to what we see in chimpsit makes evolution feel alive and relevant. What part of human behavior fascinates you most our cooperation, hierarchy, or empathy? And are you looking to connect these insights to music, writing, or just general discussion?
Why Is Writing Lyrics So Stressful?
Let’s talk honestly. Writing lyrics sounds romantic… until you sit down and face the blank page. You overthink. You compare yourself .You delete more than you write. You wonder if it’s good enough. Stress doesn’t come from writing It comes from wanting it to be perfect. But here’s the truth: Some of the best songs were written from confusion, not clarity. Question for you: 👉 What stresses you the most when writing lyrics finding ideas, rhyming, structure, or self-doubt? Let’s talk about it.

@Eric Leo HI Eric, how was your day going well, I really like this community. One idea that could increase engagement is posting simple questions or discussion topics for members to respond to. I’m curious to know your thoughts on this.
March Monday Update
Why do some independent artists drop 70+ tracks a year and still stay invisible? What if the real barrier isn’t talent, consistency, or “mindset” — but capital, infrastructure, and who controls distribution? In this Monday Update, I break down what most creators won’t say out loud: streaming doesn’t reward output alone, affirmations don’t replace leverage, and if you don’t control your pipeline, you don’t control your income. I talk about the reality of distributor shutdowns, stalled payments, and why systemic economics matter more than motivational slogans. I also unpack my 2026 rollout — Mister Congeniality 2, America 2, Primary Source Material — plus my new book Dark Racism – Linguistic and Economic, which argues that structural power shapes outcomes more than individual prejudice. If you care about how art, economics, and social systems intersect, this one goes deep. If you want the full breakdown — including the investor strategy, EVEN platform pivot, and what’s next — watch the full Monday Update now on YouTube. And if you value independent philosophy-driven hip-hop, subscribe and tap in for the Friday 3PM EST listening parties.

This is a powerful breakdown. You’re absolutely right output alone doesn’t create visibility anymore. Infrastructure and leverage matter. But here’s something I’m curious about if capital and distribution control are the main barriers, what does an independent artist do before they secure those? What strategy bridges that gap? I work with artists on strengthening brand positioning, audience psychology, and storytelling clarity so when the infrastructure scales, the foundation is already solid.

@Eric Leo That’s actually a very smart way to look at it. Building a strong foundation with the product, message, and brand before bringing in an investor is important. A lot of creators rush to marketing before their positioning is clear. At the same time, sometimes investors don’t just look at the idea they look for early traction, audience engagement, and proof that people already connect with the story behind the brand. Since storytelling is already your strength, that could become your biggest asset. One thing I’m curious about: are you already building an audience around your stories and music, or are you planning to focus on that after the product is fully developed?
🎤 SINGER CHECK BE HONEST
Every singer has that one thing we secretly do… Some of us warm up for 30 minutes like professionals…Some say my voice is tired today but still attempt high notes Some record 40 takes and somehow choose take #3…Some turn every song into harmony without permission And some of us are full concert performers… only in the shower But let’s talk real singer life… Are you the studio perfectionist, the stage energy machine, the emotional storyteller, the car concert superstar, or the family-forced singer anytime people say sing something for us ? As singers, we know it’s not only about technique sometimes it’s confidence, sometimes emotion, sometimes practice… and sometimes just surviving voice cracks at the wrong moment So tell me quickly which singer are YOU? describe yourself!
