What’s one piece of advice you’d give young men stepping into adulthood?
Hey fellas, I’m 18 and starting to take life seriously—working full-time, training consistently, investing in myself, and building habits that’ll shape who I become. I know I don’t have it all figured out, so I’d love to hear from some of you who’ve got a bit more life under your belt. What’s something you wish you knew at 18? Whether it’s about finances, relationships, fitness, mindset, discipline—whatever. I’m here to listen and learn.
What other men's style channels do you enjoy?
Aside from RMRS I also really enjoy John over at 40 over Fashion as I'm 49 years old. I also like Style OG and although geared for a younger demographic I like AlphaMale and Alex Costa as they still have some great tips even for us older gents... Even though I rarely wear suits I also enjoy Gentelmens Gazzette as I love learning about high-end style as well. who else do you enjoy?

Workouts
I have a question for all of my fellow gym rats. Do you lift light weights with more reps or heavy weights with fewer reps? Both build muscle when done to failure. Light weights are easier on the joints and nervous system, making recovery easier. Using heavy weights builds more strength than using light weights. BUT the key to all of this is lifting to failure. I do both in a given week (with 3 to 5 sets and resting 1.5 to 2 minutes between sets). Rest is important, and I try to do weight training 3 to 4 days a week and cardio for 3, and I take one day off to recoup and restore. I meditate every day and I can highly recommend its recuperative effects. So what do you do? Light? Heavy? Rest? Meditate?

I find that using heavier weights with lower reps works best for compound lifts like squats, deadlifts, and military presses. For isolation movements like curls or lateral raises, I prefer lighter weights with higher reps since the muscles involved are smaller and respond better to more volume. It’s important to train close to failure, but not to the point where you’re cheating your form — pushing too far can just increase stress hormones, which doesn’t actually help with muscle growth.
Seeking Advice for Life After High School
Hi everyone, I’m currently a high school senior preparing to graduate in a few months. As I think about the next steps in life, I realize there’s so much I don’t know. I wanted to reach out to this group for some guidance and wisdom from those who have been through this phase. What’s something you wish you had known or done differently right after high school? Do you have any tips for navigating post-graduation life, whether it’s about career paths, personal development, finances, or anything else? I’d also love to hear about any experiences, habits, or mindset shifts that helped you transition into adulthood successfully. Thanks in advance for sharing your thoughts I really appreciate it!

Thanks Antonio for these great opportunities. The Anson belt set is exactly what I need! I currently don’t have any belts to style with my outfits, which makes it tough to pull everything together. With this set, i’d finally have the versatility to match my shoes and elevate my looks, whether it’s casual or formal. It’s the perfect way to step up my style and add a polished touch to any outfit!
