Art as an Outlet
Ive been going through a lot of life changes recently and feel like Im "restarting" in a lot of different areas. I feel like through this work I've really been able to see where I have just been living in a pattern and learning how to step out of those and really know truth and know God. Through this experience I have been reconnecting with my artistic side and really leaning on expression for support - Ive been writing poetry and creating paintings and it's been so helpful for me. Im wondering what is supporting everyone else through this process of learning??

Here's a poem I recently wrote: All I can do is pray and trust. When life seems unbearable and the challenges continue to appear, take a deep breath and find your center —because from there you will be able to hear. Suffering creates chaos, disrupts the natural order — clarity becomes fogged by the illusion of the horror. The ego enjoys the disruption, because disruption is followed by distraction. Distraction keeps you isolated, unable to perform any action. Activate your internal compass, thats where you will see, Distracted minds lose time and will never truly be set free. Free from societal constraints that keep us "safe," Free from the suffering created each day, Free from this illusion that has been painted all along, Free from believing you were ever anything other than God. Sometimes I believe there's comfort in the suffering because it's all we've ever known. Sometimes I hear people complaining about their circumstances but they will never let them go. It takes courage to separate yourself from the suffering that has become an inevitable label. But inevitability is just another story they tell you, nothing more than a fable. So while it's seemingly harder to let go and trust in this life, It's the only thing that gives me hope, creates peace in my mind and allows me to believe everything will be alright.
Best way to deal with a trigger and emotional response in real time (and luteal AF)
Hi, I finally got triggered. And it was a HUGE one. I have been doing a course in miracles and foundations and I was like YES! I feel amazing, everything is flowing, then I got luteal and then life showed me the mirror of scarcity and feeling undervalued. All day I asked holy spirit to help me see clearly and all I could hear was "what a bitch" haaaa so I was listening about trauma response in our last call, I'm aware of the neurology of it all, and normally when I'm like this, I punch pillows, shake, I also distract and ruminate (oops). I write all my complaints out which doesn't feel productive. Today I feel better, my friend and I cleared the personal stuff, but this shit felt real. So I'm curious about a trigger in real time. Have you found a process that shortcuts the trigger time? I was pissed all day, and I did see it as an opportunity for radical forgiveness, but I really, really went into the victim role (mostly in my head, I didn't react terribly to another). But dang, I suffered. I'm human, but also couldn't get present in that state. Is it best to just ride it out, like a warewolf on the full moon and just know Im a little insane in this moment so I can't trust my reactions? Or something better?
